I just caught up with the threads (three days behind) and wanted to thank everyone for their favorite Adam moments. I hope it's not too late but I'd like to share mine with you all.
Is it Fantasy Springs I and giggling throughout WLL? Nope. Is it eye contact at Fantasy Springs II that curled my toes? Nope.
My favorite Adam Lambert moment is based on his Rolling Stone cover. While visiting my father in Alaska the Rolling Stone cover hit the newstands and I was on the phone with my husband back home giving him instructions on how many magazines I needed him to buy (I wasn't sure I'd find them in Alaska). When I got off the phone my dad asked me who was on the cover of Rolling Stone so I told him about Adam Lambert, my songbird. Then Daddy got on the computer and printed the lyrics of "On the Cover of the Rolling Stone" and said "There's a song about being on the cover of the Rolling Stone" and we proceeded to sing the song together. It was the last song I sang with my father. He died a few months later and as I flew out of my hometown staring out the window of the plane after attending his funeral, I had Adam singing "If I Can't Have You" in my ears and tears streaming down my face. Adam got me through that day and the entire next year.
So my favorite Adam moment is singing with my father. Does that count?

I agree AI Finale QAL performance would be a great chance to tell a special AI story. Also that part of the rehearsals for QAL may take place in the US, especially for the stage choreo and tech aspects. But I'm in doubt that Brian would fly over for AI and fly back the next day. He has an appearance scheduled on May 23, talking about the Diableries. I wonder how much time R & B will want to be in the states before the tour starts. I'm guessing they might like to get acclimated to the time change. I can't imagine starting a tour and being jet lagged. I expect they will arrive about 3 days before the first concert. But the jet lag London - Chicago is not terrible. The general rule is the time shift = half the time zone you travel when you fly east to west. So London to Chicago = -6 hours, the effect is only -3 hours. So an 8:00PM will be like 5:00PM for Brian and Roger even if they had no time to adjust. That is assuming they suffer from jet lag. Many people don't doing a short hop like that. The 12-hour shifts are really hard. That is when Ambian is nice - and we know that is what Adam does.

Travel to London made me feel miserable for a few days.

ADAM LAMBERT ✔ @adamlambert
Good running into you today @brookecandy you're charming. ___________________________________________________ BROOKE CANDY @brookecandy · May 7
OPULENCE EP on @itunesmusic - smarturl.it/OpulenceEP
Definitely not my cuppa, but after it's over there was a choice for another video that was Brooke - in conversation. I wanted to know more about her because the video was definitely not "charming". Turns out her mission is very similar to Adam's - to help people be themselves and not let others diminish their self esteem. Whatever one may decide about Brooke's art, my feeling is that Adam is a nonjudgmental, kind person, and probably a "best friend" to about a gazillion people.
