Talon -- I agree with you about Bijou it is gorgeous! Some chance for it but maybe in Canada. Just not that well known in the US. I disagree on your odds on "Brighton Rock". I think the odds are about 50% that it makes the QAL North America tour. I will be sad if I do not get to hear it again. It was one of the few non-Adam highlights in the Hammersmith 2012 concerts -- and Brian and Roger had to know it. [As many reported, the energy level for QAL when Adam was off-stage just dropped noticably.] *confused* Maybe I wasn't clear I *DON'T* really think that the whole of Brighton Rock - as in with the vocals, etc. most likely won't be played (and wasn't played at Hammersmith). A guitar solo mostly based on Brighton Rock as Brian has been performing it since the 70s without the vocals (and what WAS played at Hammersmith) is at 110%. That DEFINITELY will happen. Make sense? As for energy dropping when Adam was off stage...well that makes sense given that outside of the guitar solo, the Adam-less moments were the far more laid back moments with Brian on his acoustic and Roger doing more of the slower nostalgic stuff...far less of a "show"...and more the feel of an intimate gathering....as was the intent I feel I think the energy seemed quite high when Brian did TYMD for example in the encore :D Oh, we agree. The chance of anyone singing "Brighton Rock" IMO is 0%. But Brian will do the guitar solo version. If not, I may want a refund. Regarding energy level during QAL -- I did not notice it so much the first night in London. I was in the front row of the balcony !!!!!! my biggest ticket spurge ev'r !!!!!! and but the second night I was on the floor -- right near the stage. I was surrounded by Queen fans - so it was not and Adam fan thing. The electricity of the crowd when Adam was singing could be felt. Particularly on the theatrical songs. When he left the stage, the crowd was really into the music, no doubt, but it was different. Except during "Brighton Rock". It my be because so many of the Queen fans who were there were my vintage. >> On TYMD the audience sang along with that and people were moving around but it was not the same. The same thing happened (only more so, much more so) when Freddie performed. That is what no one can ever capture on video. The connection he had with the audience. There was an energy flow. Adam has the same effect with fans in concert. And like with Freddie, if you do not want to participate, you do not need to, and you will miss it.

My favourite Adam moment: I loved him on AI and Mad World blew me away, Beth with Kiss took my breath away and his performance with Queen surprised me, but I was not a Glambert yet. I heard IIHY on radio and I've seen the music video, and liked it. One day I went on Youtube and saw IIHY amongst the recommended videos. I watched and then start looking what else did he sing ... and then it happened ... I stumbled upon Trespassing (the whole album) ... my life changed forever! Even to this day I cannot skip a song on Trespassing. I cannot pick a favourite as every single song brings up a different emotion. No other album of any other artist has ever had that effect on me, I usually pick one or two songs as my favourite, if it's a good album maybe three or four. Not Trespassing. I'm Gemstone and I'm a Glambert Sweet that he snuck up on you in plain sight. Yes, being a Glambert is more than liking Adam, it's about being obsessed. It's a little creepy in fact, thinking about it that way but it's true. I wonder if it's effected my whole outlook. I think I used to think that "stan" was a bad word but now it's quite normal. Since I delurked earlier and also have been enjoying all the fave Adam moment descriptions (with some making me even cry)... here is mine... I also have a few, like the first time I ever heard Adam's voice and the first time I heard it live during sound check, but my one fave Adam moment is the one captured as my avatar. Del Mar was my first time seeing Adam live and I was just mesmerized. Then he did that Broadway pose. That moment especially stayed with me. Everything goes by so fast and I was overjoyed when I learned this spontaneous moment was captured. It made me realize how important and meaningful it really is, as a photographer myself, to capture moments. Thank you to all of you for this place here. I checked in a few days ago on my b'day... thanks for the wishes and the cake! I hope to meet some of you in LA or LV for QAL. Aloha... Thanks for explaining your avatar. I saw it yesterday and couldn't remember until you put it into perspective. The camera loves him with good reason.

I agree AI Finale QAL performance would be a great chance to tell a special AI story. Also that part of the rehearsals for QAL may take place in the US, especially for the stage choreo and tech aspects. But I'm in doubt that Brian would fly over for AI and fly back the next day. He has an appearance scheduled on May 23, talking about the Diableries.

oh, it is one of those prints being auctioned by the person who had bought it: "VaporSky.com created a visual rendering of the waveform of Adam's track, "Trespassing." The rendering was sliced into 100 completely unique sections, each made of up roughly 2.09 seconds of the song, and printed on a 24"x18" canvas. Each print is hand-numbered on the back and features the exact section of the song included in the design. This print is #11 (of 100 only!) and comes from this part of the song: 0:20.40 — 0:22.44 The winner will be given a link to a website that plays this section of the song. The print was originally sold as part of a package on Adam’s official website for $274.99. I am selling the print only at a significantly reduced price as I am broke and liquidating much of my Adam Lambert collection. Excellent condition! Non-smoking environment. There is a very tiny white dot on the top left (see picture). That happened when I took it out of the box and it brushed against the box." www.ebay.com/itm/Adam-Lambert-Vapor-Sky-Resonant-Decor-print-/231224238113?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276

I HATE RCA!

can you add a little more context? To view the article you need a subscription. Is he getting back in the game then?
