My family, in Asheville, are coming over to watch Caleb 's visit to our hometown with us this evening on AI..I'm really moved that Caleb/AI will be putting Asheville on TV. Our town is really something special and so is Caleb. I don't know if they will show the mayor ,but she is one of my daughter's friends... Now if Caleb can get Adam to someday do a concert here.... OMG that would be 6 degrees of separation . Glad for Asheville -- but not interested in this contestant who should have apologized for his rude, ignorant comment and who I will ignore completely until he actually says he is sorry and is an ignorant, hateful fool. ** And, no, I cannot envision any occasion that would cause Adam to share a concert stage with that same fool. ** That said, Ashville is a lovely city and one many of my friends live in and one I enjoy. So I hope Adam does a concert there someday, just not with Caleb. JMHO I do not think that Caleb is Adam's type of artist or person.

Seems Q3 was right...they are now offering OnStage seats for the Diamond VIP ticket holders ( a much larger pool of people)...at least for my only Diamond which is Chicago. I just got Chicago too and I am "only" Diamond there. They will continue down until they sell them.

Because the Ultimate VIP seats are better seats than the stage seats, for 1/2 the price. Not surprising at all! If I had any seat inside the thrust, there is no way in hell I'd trade that in for one of the on-stage tickets. The other VIP packages though, might have some people wanting to get closer! ETA: I got 2 e-mails, so they must be offering this stage seating to any VIP ticket now. I bought one of the lower priced VIPs, for a friend when she got locked out of TM, so one of my e-mails must be for my "Diamond VIP" and the other for her "Tour VIP"

While I spam the thread --- on the topic of Adam and the Idol finale. They hinted he might be on but I am skeptical. I can't figure out what he would do. I recalled that they asked the Idol's about the favs and Adam was mentioned by two of the remaining three: They can do odd things on the AI finale. They put Adam with KISS who had little to do with Adam as an artist (and Queen ) But they usually put artists with someone famous who influenced them -- James Durbin/Judas Priest. Caleb is a hard one to figure what they do with -- his old band was Southern Rock, his Idol positioning is more general 80's metal. And I can't seen Adam and Alex. Unless this is an Adam solo, I am stumped.

Well I have to agree Caleb is a bit of a neanderthal.. but IMHO he is the most talented at this point on the show. my favorite is Jessica. I never had Caleb appearing with Adam . I just thought maybe through this TV trip Adam might become interested in our mountain town. i'm happy that you like Asheville

I think that "flopped really bad in Oz" is a mis-characterization. They have a new Avicii album coming this Fall, they just want to keep some radio presence to keep TRUE sales moving and to maintain awareness of Avicii. LMD is the 5th single from TRUE. After 4 high-selling iTunes singles, many people have completed the album and have nothing left to buy. LMD is still on the Top 100 in Australia -- and has been for 4 weeks. Lay Me Down #97 Australia #101 France In Australia ATY #72 Australia (still on the radio in AU) HB #86 Australia (still on the radio in AU) LMD #97 Australia (current single in AU) WMU #127 Australia Levels #370 Australia (not from TRUE) LMD is still getting airplay -- and moving very slowly. It was released to maintain radio presence for AVICII. They will work to keep it on air, but not too hot. The whole radio strategy for a mature album is to maintain presence until the next album. TW #26 LW 28 on the AU radio airplay chart. www.radioinfo.com.au/knowledge/chart** And there is no sign that EDM is dead in Australia or Europe. NZ, US and Canada are quite different and are actually the most EDM-free markets in the world. ** Regarding Adam and the other comments in this thread about LMD not mattering -- I think it does matter, but mostly from a PR and relationship standpoint. Unless LMD blew up into a monster hit which was close to impossible since it was never a high-selling individual track on TRUE, it will have no effect on him one way or another except as a PR vehicle for Adam, Nile and Avicii -- and for some royalties. Adam is not working on a neo-disco album. He is clearly working on some form of mainstream pop-rock album since he is working with Max Martin. A3's fate will depend on the music branded as "Adam Lambert" music. So while I do not believe LMD has much to do with Adam, it was nice to have him do something while he was on the between label hiatus. Didn't LMD just go to NZ radio? I know it did not go the same time it went to Australian radio. Yes, it was just made available in NZ and has not be promoted yet. I think it went to NZ now because of the Lipton campaign. I have not yet heard LMD on NZ radio but apparently our top 2 top 40 stations have played it once at least. Definitely not in rotation yet. We haven't had the Lipton tea ad here so I doubt that has anything to do with LMD being released here.

And regarding LMD: it was introduced to Dutch radio very low key. Here and there someone at a local radio puts it on a hot song list. Now it is slowly going up in the Tipparade (which has the songs that have a chance to enter the TOP40, which is one of the important charts in the Netherlands www.top40.nl/tipparadeAddicted to you is still very big here, so I don't think that LMD is going to be huge soon. And as Q3 said, it wasn't a very popular song to download to begin with, so that probably says something as well. But to be very self centered, for me I hope it is going to do well here in the Netherlands, because I just want the pleasure of hearing Adams voice somewhere unexpected. A shop, a restaurant, a bar, on the radio, anywhere. I saw the Liptonice commercial once, and that put a huge grin on my face!! Wantmore!

Sorry I jumped to a conclusion about the iHeart Queen showcase - that it would precede the tour by several days and would also function as a pre-tour warm-up and media event. I am probably completely wrong about that. I also didn't realize that there was a gap in the tour schedule around June 30th. Not paying enough attention.
All the same, I hope that the rehearsals are held in LA and that they perform on Idol finale May 21st.
And wherever rehearsals are, I hope for a lot of ninja photos taken by locals The Queen rehearsals are scheduled to be in London. We will only get the photos that Brian, Roger and Adam want to share. I expect that Brian will share something -- at least some photos, and I bet we get an IG video or two from Adam. Queen has always rehearsed on a closed set and they have always kept the setlist pretty tight. ETA: They will not do a pre-tour warm-up, they will do a big opening in Chicago. After all, the dress rehersal for the 2012 summer tour was in front of a quarter of a million people.
