I'm glad your favorite was our homestate gal Jessica Meuse. I liked her a lot too. Even more so after watching her interview with Michael Slezak yesterday. She's tough, talented and determined.
I'm looking forward to seeing Asheville on TV tonite. I've always wanted to visit. I agree with Dancy's assessment of Caleb. He and Jena have been my two favorites all along. I don't like Alex...at all, but I do love the songs he's singing tonite. LOL. |

Good luck with the weather! ** I agree about Jessica -- very likable and classy. ** I am also looking forward to seeing Ashville tonight and should be a great hometown profile. ** Aside from the fact that Caleb is shaped like mini-Meat Loaf, I do not see that he has much in common with Meat Loaf as a singer. And he does not come from a similar musical tradition. And Meat Loaf can no longer sing. He lists some classic Southern Rock influences like the Allman Brothers (pre-Idol) and he said his biggest influence now is Chris Cornell... Soundgarden is on tour break so Chris Cornell and the whole band is available. They could also put Caleb with a contemporary rock act -- like Imagine Dragons. |
