Anyone know who Jonny Cota married? I've never heard of a wedding held on a Sunday. I'm assuming no church wedding then People get married on Fridays and Sundays all the time. Caterers work all days, and wedding officiants do too.

Adam looks gorgeous! Loved how he coordinated his look with the cherry trees too.

I don't know who Jonny Cota married but his ex boyfriend is Cassidy Haley. That is the extent of my knowledge of Johnny Cota's private life.
ETA: I see that was answered.

On the Sunday wedding question, yes, they have become common. Some Roman Catholic parishes will not schedule Sunday weddings, and Eastern Rite denominations have restrictions on some days including all of Lent. Most Christian denominations will not do marriages on Christmas and Good Friday to Easter.
But since Johnny is gay, I think that it is unlikely to involve any religious issue with a Sunday wedding.

I believe Christians don't often have weddings on Sunday because that is their Sabbath. Jews' Sabbath is sundown Friday thru sundown Saturday.

Christians don't have weddings on Sunday because that is their Sabbath. Jews' Sabbath is sundown Friday thru sundown Saturday. Yes, Christians can have church weddings on Sunday. Baptists, Catholics (parish sets rules), etc. Here is the Lutheran wedding schedule rule which is very typical US Christian weddings. But big, traditional Christian weddings are usually held on Saturday. But Sunday afternoon weddings are becoming much more common -- particularly in the the busy Spring wedding season. Jewish weddings are almost never held during the Sabbath from sundown Friday through sundown Saturday (it is up to the Rabbi -- so many interfaith Christian-Jewish weddings end up on Saturday evening.

Thanks to all who posted pics! Between the grocery store cutoffs/sandals outfit and the cherry blossom wedding attire, I've got my fix for a little while. The man is my drug. Not looking for rehab - never been happier than the past 5 years.
