I suppose this isn't big news in light of all of the QUEEN hoopla, but the clip with Adam judging on RuPaul's Drag Race was featured on last night's finale. It was his one big moment on the show- interacting with April Carrion. Not too many clips with guest judges were shown so it was nice they chose Adam. I thought he might be in the audience, but I suppose he was busy with other things. It is amazing to see how Drag Race has grown and increased in stature since the first seasons! The finale was a bit of production. I was ecstatic with the winner. This season's show was one of the best! Glad Adam was a part of it and that he was in such fine company. I personally can not wait for all of this QUEEN business to be over. Happy that Adam can continue to do what he loves to do the most, perform, and make a decent living at it. I never wanted him to have to be the frontman for Queen, but it is what it is. I hope someday he can get back to being a successful solo artist and he can have his own tour that rivals what was listed in the thread yesterday. In the meantime all the fans of Queen can have a good time too! (and Adam gets to sing with stellar musicians!) I have a second cousin ish sort of relative who writes for RuPaul's Drag Race. (I hear a few stories when I see him every now and again.) Writers for non-scripted shows? You bet! He also writes for some other reality shows... I don't think Adam has to be the frontman for Queen. I think he chooses it because it pleases him on several levels. (You may not have literally meant that he "had to," but I wasn't sure from the way the comment was phrased.) Anyway, I think he will definitely keep his main, long term focus on his solo career. He may have different goals than we imagine, though, so we may be surprised from time to time. peace&love

Thanks Betty for the update. Good news, that it will be back.
I am not worried about OiaLT keeping Adam away for too long. Things may slide a few months, when it is worth it to do so, then why not. In general, Q3 reminded us, I think it was yesterday, that Adam said he was working on his own music in parallel to the Queen engagement. That he was multitasking. It was good to be reminded of that, he is working on his album too.
He will have a single out, when he is ready to start that new promotion cycle. They have done an excellent job in 2014 to keep Adam in the news, keep messages coming from various angles, fashion, Queen, Glee, LMD, Adam out and about (Sweden and LA), old music, new music....and some of it was planned with precision. They will only go into heavy duty promotion, when the time is right to do so.... Queen will be nothing but good news for Adam, and lots of talk about any changes they will make.
My gut tells me, there will be a few surprises. This will not be a copy of a Q+PR show. ie. They will do something like a first part is presented in the traditional Queen style, a middle part, where they will change things up, Adamize some songs, and then an end that follows the established GH format. In between we will get the B&R solos and duos, to separate the parts....... (just a guess, how it could work out) I do believe there will be a part where they are doing what they promised: Step into new terrain. People will be talking about it.

And I'm sure there will be some criticism. But a real Freddie fan understands that if Freddie were here today, he would be trying all sorts of new things, just like he did when the band was not limiting itself to rock.

Just finished final plans for travel and I just need to pinch myself. I am actually going to see this (5 years ago 05-20-09) Just have to figure out how to get to down under now. It would be less expensive to go to more US shows but I hear an adventure calling me.

Since RCA is releasing an Adam album, could they release 'Runnin' as a single with a lyric video if they wanted to...just curious...anyone know?
