Augenpoesie - I can see the video on YouTube with no trouble - just click YouTube on the top here and it will transfer. ( sorry if you know this and have already tried it!)  Germany has special rules for watching music on youtube. We have an organization called "GEMA" (they are a legally authorized collecting society for musicians). For those interested - here's an explanation: Blocking of YouTube videos in GermanyThe blocking of YouTube videos in Germany is part of an ongoing dispute between the video sharing platform YouTube and the Gesellschaft für musikalische Aufführungs- und mechanische Vervielfältigungsrechte, or GEMA, a performance rights organisation in Germany. According to a German court in Hamburg, Google's subsidiary YouTube can be held liable for damages when it hosts copyrighted videos without the copyright holder's permission.[1] As a result, music videos for major label artists on YouTube, as well as many videos containing background music, have been unavailable in Germany since the end of March 2009 after the previous agreement had expired and negotiations for a new license agreement were stopped. So all I can do is wait for other's to upload it in a format which I can download then... 4Msrmyn and nic - so if Adam isn't in that video, what's the point watching   Had no idea - interesting.....I wonder why the law has such a different take. i had actually deleted this post before you replied because I realised there must be a good reason you couldn't see it and I was just being a dope suggesting YouTube!  I was right!.....there was a good reason and I was being a dope! |

There seems to be now an official video for Lay me down. But I am scorned and can't see a d... thing....  I hate getting blocked, too. I can see this one and you aren't missing anything. Just generic shot of Avici backstage walking, shots of him...doing whatever it is he does (not much), crowd shots of dancing audience. Really could be any song that they're bopping to. No talking, no Adam mention, just LMD playing. Thankfully this vid isn't blocked for me. Anyway - if it is an official video (and it seems like it is), it's pretty awful - no a mention of Adam. Just Avicii. And nothing interesting (except for Adam's vocals!) at all. |

I've noticed the German ban on old vids I had downloaded and YT tells me they are blocked in some countries, but the vid is otherwise ok for me to post. I no longer download vids, though. After 3 strikes, I was banned and lost my videos and about a 100 playlists. I made a new YT account (heartfrumps) and recreated most of the old lists, but that was tiresome work. Don't want to risk it, again. EDIT Fixed messed up quotes. |

- What a beautiful song and a wonderful sentiment. Freddie's bridge section is one of my favorite vocal moments on the album. Simply beautiful.

Sail Away Sweet Sister.....15% -- Don't ask me why but I think this one has a chance...I wouldn't bet my life on it or anything...but it feels as if it could make an appearance...

- A Queen song with no input from Brian or Roger. No surprise then that it is not a rocker but a nice slice of laid back funk. Some great guitar work from John here and what a falsetto from Freddie. Beautiful.
- This track was never attempted live.
- The Flys (one hit wonders of the 90s) included part of this song during their album closer (Sexual Sandwich) to which they apologized to Freddie for in the liner notes.
- There was a demo version done with David Bowie providing backing vocals but at the last minute he decided he didn't want his vocals included causing a delay in the album (and a bit of annoyance from the band.)

- This is not the same version as the lower quality one but this one is a great version. I wish Bowie had allowed it to go through!
PERSONAL NOTES:
- This is a track that wasn't huge amongst Queen fans, but I always dug it. I LOVE the laid back funk. Very smooth track.

Cool Cat......0% -- Unless Adam discovered it on his own and begs the band, I don't see it happening....and even if he did...I still don't really see it happening, LOL

It's quite possible LMD might be the last single from True and getting less promo than the earlier ones. As this is not a lyric video which usually preceeds the more elaborate video I suspect there's not gonna be a proper video.
However, the footage is from playing LMD. The galloping horse and balloons were used to illustrate that specific song. I'm guessing it might even be from the concert in Stockholm where Adam was in the audience (remember the IG video we got?) but hard to be sure because with all the effects all arenas look alike.
