The kids have a sort of Boot Camp at the supposed judges house(all fake) with some big name celebrity. Can any Aussies tell us when this would be? |

Finally, my June/July schedule has been released and I have both July 9th and July 10th fully available to enjoy QAL!!! I am so excited. I had already planned for Dallas, but now I get to go to Houston too. Just went to the venue's site and they still have great seats! So I whipped out my credit card and Houston, here we come!!! Now to find a hotel room down there... Woo hoo !!! When I first heard about the back-to-back concerts, I wondered what it would cost to rent a party limousine to go from Austin to Houston to Austin / sleep in our own beds / Austin to Dallas to Austin. Not even a full two day rental, but that was as far as I got. I have a plan! It's crazy, but totally doable. I love road tripping for concerts, so much fun! My partner and I are going to head down to Houston Wed morning, explore an art exhibit, enjoy the show, play with friends!!!! I booked a room in a nice but not outrageously priced hotel on Fannin Lane, not far from the venue so we can sleep well. Leave early the next day for Austin, pick up my sister in Austin and head for Dallas! We'll stay with my folks and leisurely make our way home Friday. Are you trying to get to both shows? |

Watch it girl, you are treading on thin ice. LOL. Well if the analogy fits.. but you live in Austin which isn't really Texas it just happens to be located there :-) But before I set of another revolutionary war - I'm just kidding, I have had some good times in Texas (and Perth) Here here!! Austin is its own planet practically |

I don't know about pronunciation in Texas, but here in LA - people still say Los Angeleeeez, and San Peeeedro - drives me nuts. And I got Grace Kelly Flawless and enthralling, you’re a class act who can sometimes can come off as a little reserved, but deep down inside you’re warm, witty, and have a bit of a wild streak. Your most iconic films: “The Country Girl,” “To Catch a Thief,” and “High Noon.” I was hoping for Audrey, but Grace is Ok (totally unlike either one  ) |

I think, on that show the judges sometimes had their teams over at their own houses, at least here in the US it was that way, maybe in AU it is similar. But I am totally unclear on how QAL would fit in with that. What? They just show up for tea and coffee that day? Alright, I did not watch enough X-factor to really know how that show works. Sorry.

Kind of shaking my head at my fellow Austrians and their poster woes. I mean, I'm not often to be found with the pearl-clutchers, but seriously?
Probably fun to take your three year old on a bus-ride, if this is what you get to discuss with him/her along the way. Or your nine-year old for that matter.
Really, we need this kind of progress?
And that is helping the LGBT community exactly how?
