I wonder what the temperature is in the UK this time of year? I hope Adam wasn't walking in cold rain!LOL Not cold today but definitely cool.....and cloudy and rainy.....typical London early summer day! (Actually we have had 'proper' summer days lately but in a rainy patch now). Doubt Adam would have been cold. Oxford Street is a major West End shopping street, enclosed by high buildings, and he would have been nipping in and out of them, keeping warm and dry-ish. Selfridges is perhaps the most famous shop there. I'm so pleased he got recognised a few times! Progress.... |

Cute conversation on twitter with the girl who saw Adam on the Street in London today. I think it was on Oxford Street. Is there lots of shops on that street?
Um, YESSSSS! lol It's the biggest and busiest shopping street in London. It's hard to walk down without banging into people and you can never walk in a straight line. The Europeans and Americans want to walk on the right and the Brits on the left. It's pedestrian bumper car! I wouldn't mind 'bumping' into Adam though!  |

Weather channel says 55- 64 degrees for the next 4 days, with rain. Then a sunny weekend. Then back to rain next Monday.

This may seem like a stupid question but can anyone who already has the 'Best of' album reassure me that the last bad note in 'Mad World' has been fixed? I just couldn't relax and enjoy listening to it if I knew that note was coming up.

Adam Lambert of “American Idol” fame has bought a home in Hollywood Hills West for $2.995 million.
Close to Sunset Strip to be convenient but far enough away to take in the city views, the Modern-style house was built in 1947 and has been renovated. A sweeping exterior staircase follows the shape of a curved wall with a glass brick window.
The nearly 3,800 square feet of living space includes a dining room with a floor-to-ceiling climate-controlled wine room, an oversized kitchen with commercial-grade appliances and a diner-style booth/breakfast room, a den with a fireplace, a screening room and a gym.
The master suite has a fireplace, a sitting area and a spa-like bathroom for a total of three bedrooms and four bathrooms.
Ferns and lush landscaping fill the courtyard-style backyard, which features a grotto spa.
Lambert, 32, was a runner-up on “Idol” in 2009, the same year he released the album “For Your Entertainment.” While he has continued to release albums and tour, he has been doing soundtrack work for television as well as acting. Since last year, he has been on five episodes of “Glee.”
Jeff Yarbrough and Chris Jacobs of Keller Williams were the listing agents, the Multiple Listing Service shows. Brad Downs of Rodeo Realty represented Lambert.
