It is not even a good fake. There is a typo in the tweets. I never believe anything unless it gets verified here. LOL Note to Adam and Shoshanna: Looks like the natives are getting restless, time for some real news folks! We are getting little bits -- like Adam did essentially confirm he has a new label in two of the Australian interviews. So perhaps soon. On the other hand, he was in the recording studio last week. So A3 is not done. Hopefully he was working on the final masters, not on new recordings because I want A3 in the Fall -- November remains my guess. And he is certainly on track for that. All I know is Adam sounds so happy in all of these Oz interviews it is great. And it is beautiful that he is the lead for most of the promotion for QAL Oz, as he was in the US.  Yes, it is all good right now! |

I am guessing that Brian and Roger are more than happy for Adam to be the "frontman" in more ways than one for the upcoming tour. They basically want to play the music they love and interact with their audiences one more time. They probably have no interest in promotion, interviews, endless repeated questions, etc. They are in it for the love of performing their music.
So, let Adam do the bulk of the PR interviews which can get boring and repetitive very quickly. He is still a fresh face, and he hasn't been in the public limelight for 40 plus years. Let the kid do it. Adam loves talking to people. Adam, to be honest, DOES like to be the center of attention when it comes to being a singer and performer. Whether Adam is thrilled to be doing every duplicate radio interview and answering the same questions about what it is like to be be on stage with the legendary Queen, he is an accomplished actor who knows his lines very well.Plus in the back of his mind he is probably telling himself 1)this gig is gonna pay for my NEW HOUSE, 2)this gig is gonna get me lots of coverage in advance of my next album, and 3) this gig is gonna earn me a lot of credibility as a pop/rock superstar.
I love hearing Adam talk and laugh almost as much as hearing him sing, so I am glad it is working out this way.

Melliemom, Did not get the calendar yet but got my CDs yesterday. I love it but I wish there were some more of MY favorites on it. Selfish much? I wish you were going to Atlantic City. I think there will be mostly tourists there when we go. Just to see Adam one last time. It is my dream. I say that every time I go to an Adam concert. Sorry I will miss you. Hi Irish.. I ended up calling about calendar.. pre-ordered.. so not quite ready yet. I would love to go to Atlantic City but time doesn't allow it .. Going to Merriweather,then plane tickets for home.. I know I keep thinking this may be my last Adam concert, but we forge on..  Actually you are doing a lot better than I am in that department. Hope all is well.. will miss you too. |

I just had a dream that I was in the first QAL show, in Chicago (the show I actually have tickets for). I was alone, but standing next and talking to someone from this board. In the dream I knew exactly who it was, but now I don’t. We were standing in section 6, the section I have tickets for, but when the show was about to begin, everybody, including us, started walking into the front sections. The big screen showed Adam backstage just as he started walking towards the stage, holding his mic. He was wearing tight black clothes (what a shocker!) and looking beautiful. Then I saw that the musicians were already on stage, waiting. I saw Brian real close to me. They started playing a tender song which I don’t know, and Adam started singing in a soft ethereal voice. We could hear him, but we couldn’t see him yet. He sang the first 2 lines, and then I woke up, so didn’t get to dream his entrance to the stage. I can still sing these 2 lines, but I’ll soon forget. ~~~
I take this dream to mean that I’m eventually making peace with the fact that I will NOT be in this concert or any other QAL concert. My whole US trip was cancelled through no fault of mine. I’ve known this for quite some time now, but I couldn’t bring myself to put my tickets up for sale, because it makes it so final... However, I’m ready now, and I would like nothing better than to have an Adam fan get them. I probably will never get to see QAL live, but on the bright side, the first time I will see Adam, it will probably be in his own concert, singing his own songs, so that’s even better. And one of the QAL concerts is supposed to be transmitted live online by iHeartRadio, right? And no doubt there will be a myriad of fan youtubes, so it’s all good.
