Graciejane...thanks for the information on Nancy Sinatra. Growing up and living in Hollywood she must have some amazing stories to tell! Not to mention about her dad. OT but if you are interested this bio of Frank's life is from Nancy's perspective. sinatrafamily.com/biography/index.php

Since it is a slow day and I am always wondering about random, unimportant things.... Any guesses as to why Adam has seemingly abandoned his nose ring? Perhaps decided he didn't like the look after all. Maybe it was annoying and physically bothered him. Could have got negative feedback from friends/family. (although this seems unlikely as he does what he likes and seems to not care about opinions concerning those types of things) It didn't fit what he envisioned as his 'look' for the Queen tour. Doubtful, but maybe it somehow hampered his breathing/singing. Naw...it was too small to be a hindrance. I give up...guess we will never know.... unless some interviewer ever asks him about it. Sorry for the silly intrusion...carry on! could be just about any of those reasons, but if how painful and slow an ear cartilage piercing heals is any indication, a nose piercing could be pretty hard to live with.

Andrew Parker @darth_Vivid · 14m 7373672. The exact number of people who saw @wwrylondon according to @drbrianmay last night. Wow! Andrew Parker @darth_Vivid Adam Lambert was sat 4 rows in front of me last night at WWRY. A lady who was rather the worse for wear fell over straight into his lap! Andrew Parker @darth_Vivid Well, into his PA first & then him. She was removed by an usher & then came runnign back, chased by said usher! Video of that would be priceless! LOL

I have a nose piercing, and it took a while to heal properly. During the first year or so, whenever I took it out for a night (or if I lost it accidentally and didn't notice right away), it would be difficult to get the stud in again. It closed up that fast. I was determined to keep the piercing in, and now it's fine, but I can imagine that Adam just had enough. Also, it was quite painful in the beginning. I bought a nose ring recently, because I want to know if that feels any different from a stud. Guess I won't be reporting on that here, since it is off topic now Adam took his out. I really liked the nose ring on Adam, but hey #itshisnose

All of that, yeah. But I never enjoyed the KISS persona/presentation style. I thought the costumes and make-up were childish, and the big red tongue constantly sticking out gross. It might have been tolerable if they were great musicians/singers live. But, when I see them faking their own playing, and the singing they actually do live sounds BAD, there is nothing about the group I would enjoy seeing live. Gene Simmons' opinions about Adam and much else just made him more disgusting to me. lol, sure, I don't want to go see them either, but somehow I am not willing to even take them seriously. They are one step up from a circus act for me, and the fact that this act and slick marketing (which is the one thing I really think that Gene is great at, btw) has earned them millions, does not mean, I am going to take them seriously on an artistic level. Maybe, they are just a joke, but they do understand mass-entertainment and the music biz, and have raked in the millions for more than 30 years, and so when he said, that Adam had blown his career, I certainly wanted Gene to be proven wrong. And that has happened now. Seeing this summer's touring results will put a lid on that discussion, for good. Gene can see his own tour sales numbers and the ones that QAL is getting. That discussion is over.

Oh thanks, Graciejane, I will definitely want to read it! On the OT (lol) of books I am finishing one called 'Girls Like Us' by Sheila Weller. It is about the lives of singer songwriters Carole King, Joni Mitchell, and Carly Simon whose music and lives represented and defined a generation of women "coming of age" in the late 1960's. Good read. It was published in 2008.

I just got around to watching the Feelin Good dance video. The guy is really good but it's the vocal that is simply superb. Absolute perfection. The best studio recording in all 13 (is it 13? lol) seasons. And that's not even up for discussion.
