When someone writes a song, it really is difficult for some other person to match the writers intensity, passion and feeling that was put into it. Take "Outlaws of Love" for example...Adam puts so much of his soul into this song that it would be hard to match By the same token, Freddie's STL really can't be matched although others have tried. Adam's take is just a pleasure to listen to because of the joy he has singing it, his version is nothing like Freddie's and that may very well be on purpose. I love both.

The popular Broadway and West End show ‘We Will Rock You’ was staged for the last time this past weekend in London.
Former ‘American Idol’ star and current Queen front man, Adam Lambert, was Brian May’s personal guest at the last performance.
“Thanks @drbrianmay and Roger Taylor for inviting me to see the closing night of West End’s We Will Rock You. Great performance,” Lambert wrote after attending the event.
‘We Will Rock You’, based on the music of Queen and written by Ben Elton, was initially critically panned but went on to become a commercial success with a 12 year run, making it one of the West End’s biggest hits.
Lambert is currently in the UK rehearsing for a 24-date tour of the United States, Australia, Canada, and Tokyo as the lead singer of Queen.
