Lol, Cassie, really can't agree with your assessment here. Adam looks stunning, imo.
Here is the thing. When it comes to the more unusual colors, it really depends even more so on the person, what colors look good on that person, and which one don't. The funny thing is, cinnamon or beige, depending how you want to classify this, is normally, based on skin tone and natural pigmentation, not a color that Adam should wear. He normally needs colors with a more blue-ish undertone. The yellowish tones will always drain him a bit.
But then, Adam does not like rules, so he breaks them. First of all, his hair and beard are colored such that a beige tone does work. Then, this suit is a high quality fabric and has shine and so that always helps. Thirdly, it perfectly fit the event (contrary to what I read earlier) and finally, Adam brings his vibrant blue eyes and his natural grace, and that great shirt and the gold jewelery along for the ride, and so it all comes together, all those pieces thumping their combined noses at the rule and somehow making it work.
Adam needs to put effort in, to make this color work for him, it is not a color that will naturally make him pop. But Adam does exactly that, and that makes a huge difference. And it makes it fun to see, how he does it. It's Adam, so F - the rules.
Now back to normal, not necessarily named Adam - kind of people. Cinnamon can look great on exactly those people who often get drowned out in the regular dark navy and black suits. They are a great alternative for some people. The blond, pale skinned guy, who looks totally tired in dark blue, might look perfect in this. And it is a shame that some high-brow environments are such that anything besides black, dark gray and dark blue is considered informal. And nothing to do with generations, rather with the type of person and the type of event. Thankfully, there are not many such pockets left in society, where everything is regimented.
And the good news is, Adam looks great in the darker colors and does not have to worry.
Always fun to see what Adam wears, and always unexpected.
