I watched this video and thought repeatedly about Adam. The speaker, Joss Whedon, a Hollywood writer, talks about being asked the same question by almost every reporter. At one point he replies: "equality is not a concept. It's not something we should be striving for. It's a necessity. Equality is like gravity. We need it to stand on this earth as men and women.." Love this, thanks for posting.. At least he gives a different answer each time..LOL |

NO way it is the last day of rehearsals. Impossible! Last day of rehearsals IN LONDON, perhaps. They could be adjourning to reassemble in the US to have time to acclimate to different time zones. Or, they may move the rehearsals to another location to rehearse with the staging, lighting, etc. Bri, tell us more! Yes they have to rehearse here ... will be interesting to see where they do so.. They will be rehearsing pretty constantly for over all show, and for each performance. Lots of hard work ahead .. I can't wait for Merriweather.....Just thinking about all the effort that goes into a concert,makes me exhausted. You have to LOVE performing beyond everything else IMHO. Yep, the stage will have been constructed here, for one thing, and they will want to rehearse with that for health & safety reasons (and laws). Some of the less specialized equipment can be sourced here (saves huge shipping fees) and they will want to try it out before taking it on the road. There is also the matter of an iHeart radio showcase, which would be best done before the tour starts in terms of promotional value (seats to sell in some venues) and rehearsal in front of a live audience, however small.
Makes sense.

Love that Joss Whedon video. I have never seen Buffy the Vampire Slayer but a good friend of mine is an avid fan. Perhaps she's on to something.

Love that Joss Whedon video. I have never seen Buffy the Vampire Slayer but a good friend of mine is an avid fan. Perhaps she's on to something. Buffy is AMAZING!! So ahead of its time! I have every season on DVD! Huge fan! Buffy is one of my top favorite TV shows of all time. I had the pleasure of meeting Joss Whedon at the final Buffy Posting Board party in 2003. He's so smart and funny. Also met one of the writers, Jane Espenson, who went on to write Husbands with Cheeks. Joss plays Brady's agent in that series. |

My guess for more rehearsals is somewhere in the Chicago area. Adam knows the songs, the band can tighten up arrangements, but they will need some practice with that stage set up, I imagine.
