Wow! The 16th.....so soon....and on the net!  Wishing loads of luck to all those entering the contest. Got to have an Atopper there! edit: just seen Belle's comment about the broadcast being geo-blocked....nooooo!  It's great there's a stream. And we can hope they'll open it for us foreigners too - we just don't know yet how it'll pan out. I do expect that it's a 'no video' environment though, so less options for fan help. Fingers crossed! |

I'm sure you know this Talon, but others may not. Nikki is a huge Queen fan. Tons of podcasts and interviews (including one with Paul Rogers) where Nikki talks on and on about Queen. Motley Crue were on Elektra records along with Queen back in the day and there are many Queen mentions in 'The Dirt', which is a great read. ETA: SOOOOOOOO wish I was in SoCal!!!!!I do know that ! Nikki has always been very kind to Queen. All of the Crue are. So that's a nice choice.... Wow! The 16th.....so soon....and on the net! Wishing loads of luck to all those entering the contest. If there are any fanbases that are sure to capture any performance streamed online it would be Queen and Adam's fans. I have no doubt that the recorded stream will be available even in China.
Interestingly both Queen and Adam really do cover the world! My only question is Antarctica!

If there are any fanbases that are sure to capture any performance streamed online it would be Queen and Adam's fans. I have no doubt that the recorded stream will be available even in China. Interestingly both Queen and Adam really do cover the world! My only question is Antarctica! Do we think it will be streamed live or the stream recorded and held back so as not to ruin any concert surprises. Is this red meat to get the saliva going for those who have not gotten tickets? |

It will be a 1 hour concert -- and based on past concerts like this, no surprises will be given away. Plus it will be done on a small stage, so not the big effects. ** In 1 hour they will probably do 12-14 songs -- so about half the setlist. I expect it will be the big hits and a couple Adam tracks -- similar to iHRMF but a bit longer. YES....Crossing fingers for a "highlight" live stream! ...but wondering if any youtubes at all will be coming from my fair city....Calgary! I am crossing fingers that someone with the video inclination may attend Calgary and our other Canadian cities to present a few youtubes to the drooling fans. I fear our city may let the fandom down...and I for one, will not be helping, as I do not have the equipment/nor the inclination. I know...I know...I sit at my computer waiting for any releases for other concerts, but do not return the favour. Now Montreal and Toronto may get coverage but the other Canadian hosts...yikes...just do not know. I do not go to as many Adam concerts as some, and honestly I have shifted my views of snapping photos while he performs. I want to just relax, and enjoy the music. Does anyone know of any Adam fans who might be coming to our neck of the woods? The response in the members thread is pretty lean. On a good note, there will be a good turn out for the concert! |
