Queen used a lot of unusual items in the music -- odd instruments and found items.

Well, a judge in my home state of Wisconsin struck down the ban on gay marriage there, and people are getting married there this weekend. I hope the same will happen here in North Carolina and in Texas. This is one of the most beautiful photos of Adam I've ever seen. I can stare at it long and long .... Adam the man, not the performer, that sweetness and openness. I love the way he is playing more with his 'ginger' tones; the ones he thought he had to change because ginger could never be sexy enough. Simply stunning.

I ventured over to a Queen fan site yesterday (hello Soxtalon ErrrrUmm

) and started at page 1 of the Q+AL thread, took my time and ended up in the 150's

. There's a wonderful expression that 'love has no reason'. Whenever I start to explain why I love something or someone (or both) it is only ever partly true, an abstraction, but never 'it'. Don't we all simply love first and then have endless reasons why? The man, the voice, the entertainer, the beautiful soul ..... it could have been such a friendly discussion.

I've only seen Queen live once. I can still recall a lot of it as if it were happening yesterday - Freddie and the magic of Queen were that powerful. I never felt the connection to Freddie or Queen, though, that I do with Adam, and yet I prefer all of the Queen catalogue sung by Freddie simply because that is what Queen sounds like and I loved it like that.

But, things being as they are, Adam singing Queen music live? We've all won! So has Adam. So, too, have Brian and Roger. We are truly in for a spectacle. I also really appreciate two not-so-young spring chickens bringing their middle-aged selves halfway across the world - whether or not they are drinking from the cup of youthful blood!

Thank you Talon and Q3 - I have learnt so much from all your efforts and will appreciate what I'm seeing so much more because of you :-*

Anyway, I feel like this:

I feel just like those smilies. I am going to Chicago so even sooner and I really am having trouble focusing anything else.

stardust and Q3 I have exactly the same feelings. I have had serious problems to focus anything else. One week ago I had the opening of my art exhibition and it was so difficult to concentrate on it. And my house is a total mess. I have to clean my house before MSG but it so difficult to concentrate EyeRollSmiliey

I only want to hang around internet and seek QAL news and it's getting worse when the tour has started
