Queen + Adam Lambert to perform at iHeartRadio's Los Angeles theater!

Queen + Adam Lambert are getting ready to head out on an epic summer tour, but first they are making a stop at iHeartRadio's theater in Los Angeles on Monday, June 16 at 6pm PT/9pm ET.

This will be Queen's first full-scale tour in six years, and the intimate show at the iHeartRadio Theater Los Angeles is sure to be one fans won't ever forget. The exclusive performance will not only feature many of the legendary rockers' biggest songs, but will be accompanied by a Q&A discussing their monumental tour, which kicks off later that week.

The best part is fans across the country will be able to catch all the action. The event will be broadcast live on-air as a 60-minute audio special on Clear Channel Classic Rock stations, and the video will be streamed online on Yahoo! Screen.

Queen + Adam Lambert rocked the crowd at the most recent iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas last September, which generated excellent reviews. In case you missed it, check out their performance below!

The bets are in. Talons and I have both picked 30 songs. We did this independently but we have 22 songs in common, and 8 unique songs each for a total of 46 possible songs!

We both agreed that the concert will begin with a pre-recorded intro with special effects and end with the Queen recording of “God Save the Queen”.

The 22 common songs include 2 new songs for Q+AL, “Killer Queen” and “Now I’m Here”. The rest of the songs were performed in the 6 Q+AL 2012 Concerts. The songs that we both agree will be performed, in alphabetical order, are:

Talon’s 8th pick in that Brian will do a sing along acoustic song and change it. He selected a long list of songs for this but only allocated one slot. So it will be scored as one song, and he will get credit for it IF Brian does an acoustic sing along and uses at least 3 different song in the 25 North American concerts. Q3’s Picks

My list is quite different. I admit that after seeing Talon’s list I wanted to make a few changes, but I resisted. I picked a couple really outlandish songs for a Queen concert because I think this tour may be a bit Adamized. So, I picked Queen’s sexiest song, “Get Down Make Love”, a song that describes Adam, “Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy” and a kick-ass rocker made for North America, “Stone Cold Crazy”. I may be “Stoned”, “Cold” and “Crazy” but I also picked Brian’s scifi song, “’39”, an old classic Queen/Brian song, “Brighton Rock”, and “A Kind of Magic” which I think Roger will sing. Now, we were told there would be something “that will surprise everyone” and I selected one of the unreleased, soon to be released Mercury-Jackson duets. I have no idea what they will do but am picturing Adam singing Michael’s part, and Freddie singing something, and Roger in there somewhere. OR maybe there is a vocalist we do not know of who will pop in for this one song.

For my 8th unique pick, I have a variable Guitar Solo by Brian May. So just like Talon, I think that Brian will change it up, but I think he will do that with his guitar not with a sing-along. So we will score this the same way sort of. I will get points if Brian play guitar solos that incorporate parts of at least 3 different songs over the course of the tour – excluding “Lost Horizon” which Talon picked.



The Game Is ON!!!

Looking at the two lists, Talon seems to have the advantage out of the gate, but I have a few wacky picks that might just payoff with big point totals!!

The winner will not receive a fabulous prize, like you could (details below), but the winner will be granted a special Adamtopia Title, "The Great Prognosticator". The loser could also be given a less grand title but something worthy of a setlist warrior!
