6.16.14 iHeartRadio Queen + Adam Lambert Concert

Not a transcript but a summary of the Seacrest interview (which was short).

-- Ryan asked Adam what color his hair is these days. Adam replied "Sandy."

-- Adam said he's settled into his new house. When asked if he's doing a lot of remodeling/redecorating, he said he isn't right now, but he's "never satisfied" and will probably be changing the decor tweaks at a time.

-- He said tonight's iHeart show will present the highlights of the regular tour show.

-- Adam said he feels like he, Roger, Brian, and the backup musicians have gelled into a solid, dynamic unit. He has some jitters but is feeling pretty comfortable with the group.

-- He said he'll wear something from his closet for tonight's show, because he doesn't want to preview any of his tour costumes (again hinting they'll be fabulous).

Yup!  At Merriweather (outside of DC).  Normally, I would have gone for the pit, but with the still relatively small and easily squished I got us seats.  Her first rock concert!  Need to start practicing hand claps.

The other nice thing about seats is that, if she stands on the seat, she'll be relatively the same height as everyone else.  I thought my shoulders would break when we last saw Adam at the Gaylord event, and - two years later - she's way too big for me to piggyback for a show.  Unless there's a basketball player in front of us, she'll be able to see even if everyone stands.
