Did the skin-tight bell-bottoms look as good in person as they did on video? Shallow wading minds need to know.

Nice comment under Lyndsey Parker's article on Yahoo - Queen Performs Freddie Mercury Solo Song 'Love Kills' for First Time Ever
Jeff 24 minutes ago Frankly I've never been a big Queen fan, but as a musician I still admired them. Nor am I a Lambert fan. I figured I'd watch these clips and see some over-the-hill band fronted by a over-hyped kid. I was just plain wrong. These guys sound awesome. Queen sounds fresh and rejuvenated by Lambert's ability to respect Mercury's memory while pumping his own style and energy into each song. Well done guys!

Cassie....there were a few top notes he seemed to sit just under...but more like he was singing in minor rather than singing flat...but they resolved and left you unsure if it was on purpose or not. I had to go listen to Freddie's original to make sure that was the case....was it just my ears? What was he doing there....he sounded amazing... Hmm. Not sure where you mean. I noticed two things. First, on some of those powerful A4s (not at all high for Adam) he starts the note with a straight tone, then adds in a vibrato after a moment. Intentional. Could that be what you are hearing? The second thing is that toward the end, at about 3:00, they briefly change keys, taking the song up one step. TBH, that was an awkward transition vocally and instrumentally. They need more work on that and I predict if they cannot get it smoother, they will drop it, as they end the song in the original key any way. We will certainly be discussing the song and the entire performance in the vocal masterclass in upcoming days, but I am too buzzed and blown away to analyze tonight. Please bring your question over to the masterclass thread in more detail. Thanks! I am not sure what you are referring to.... but absolutely every single note and movement he made tonight seemed intentional.

Very happy for all of you who went and looking forward to your recaps, thx those who already chimed in.
Afraid to ask a silly question but I've clicked on every download link of Love Kills and it plays on my phone but doesn't upload into my songs on my iphone. Everyone else, how did you do it? It's just on my browser and I won't be able to listen to it on the subway without wifi. :(

It was incredible! Adam has never looked or sounded better! They seem like a gelled group now! Not like a guest singer with an iconic band. So many smiles betweem them during the night! These guys love working with each other! I had such a good spot! Two people from the stage right in front of Adam. I could see him clearly from head to toe! OMG! Those pants! I hear I was on camera. LOL! Have not watched the recorded stream yet. Does anyone have that link handy? I don't know what I can say that you haven't already seen! I was blown away by everything! OH! 2 big Queen fans in front of me. 2 men from El Paso Texas. Drove to LA in one night because they just won their tickets yesterday! Had never heard Adam sing before but they had heard of Adam. "I hear he's good" LOL! By the 2nd song the guy had heart eyes for Adam. He thought the show was incredible & they are coming back to LA for the show at the Forum! I would say the audience was at least 60% Queen fans!
