I think Roger has lost weight. His goatee is sharp and his eyes are sparkling. The three of them together look like they're having a blast. I love Roger's embrace of the word Diva and Adam's description of peacocking. How cool for Roger and Rufus to be on tour together. I hope to see pics of Adam and Rufus out at clubs in the tour cities.
If Freddie was alive today he would also be "no Freddie" if people are thinking of Live Aid/Wembly Freddie. It is impossible as he was only 45 when he passed to think of how he and his voice would have aged. I have no doubt he would have still put on an amazing show. The Queen songs require a vocal attack and versatility and lots of lyrical storytelling. So of course I prefer Queen's songs with Freddie. But with no Freddie, I can't imagine anyone other than Adam, plus he looks good (no small thing for a frontman). Feel very lucky that Roger and Brian are healthy. It will be incredible.
Happy for all going to Chicago.

My impression is that "the place no others dared to go" referred to those who stood in for Freddie. Maybe Brian and Roger are ready to don costumes themselves again - Brian anyway. All three seem to be up big time for this. Oh, what fun this will be!  Also - so glad Spike, Neil and Tiger are along again. Hardly ever mentioned, but they are great! |
