Spent the day traveling - - finally I'm here in Chicago (what a beautiful city by night) after circling above O'Hare waiting for an 'Adam Storm' to abate so we could land. Can't wait to meet other 'Topians tomorrow, make some new 'Queen' friends, scout out the arena, and, lastly, SEE THE OPENING SHOW OF QUEEN & ADAM LAMBERT!!! There aren't enough exclamation points in the world to express this anticipation, this joy! I'll do my best to flail, remember, and re-cap! . . . and shop for red, leopard print, and maybe a little gold . . .  |

I bought myself a cute RED Leopard Print jacket over a month back especially to wear to the QAL Houston show (with my ubiquitous black pants). I can come up with GOLD metal accessories, & black leather sandals.  Ready...set...go! |

Somehow I got myself onto a Yahoo comment thread about The IHeart Radio show. It was horribly shocking with about 98% against Adam. I hope I never see anything like that again, it was so hateful.

Yahoo has always had the worst and meanest comments. I recall Lyndsay eliminating comments altogether for some columns. Being so hateful all the time must take its toll... Not counting this bunch, I think comments in general have really turned around in the last year. Looking for more good stuff as this tour progresses...  (signed) Pollyanna  |

THANKS, I needed a positive reply after those hateful Yahoo comments. That took a toll on me and HOPE that Adam does not see this hateful stuff.

Everyone going to the Chicago show...have a fantastic time....that goes without saying!! Will look forward to all your stories, comments etc. Have enjoyed the Queen Online On Tour: Notes From the Road. I'm sure I just missed this info..but who is writing it and will it continue for the whole tour or just a few shows? Fun to read behind the scenes tidbits. |

Me again ( rare poster on a rant). When Carmit posts that the Zodiac family loves Adam, when Tommy calls him "brother" and when Eber expresses happiness about a Father's Day meal, that is Real. The Yahoo miserable postings are made up by people who do not have a clue about what is real.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in Vancouver and Vegas..

I woulden't worry about negative comments from sites, or blogs e.t.c. Most of them are trolls who are not even real Queen fans or don't care less, just generally social media is for generally cynical people. Most of the people who think they are sharing a valuable opinion, and think what they say is cool or relevant, are just ignorant and close minded. Most of them are the minority, most purists or the general public have opened their mind to this collab. People who are well informed and educated, have at least given the guy the opportunity to prove them wrong, or at least see he's talented. It doesn't really matter how talented Adam Lambert is, IMO techiniquely he is a stronger vocalist then Freddie, although Freddie is a legend and even Adam well never be better, it's just a different time now. People just like to believe things well always remain the same, it's like on Idol when he lost, a lot of that was due to be people feeling out of control. Adam was basically forced fed down viewers throats, and it felt anti-climatic he would win, people like to be in control, so they did and KA wan haha. Kinda the same thing, Adam is threatning to their ideas and values, just the way it is. But I would dare say most of the positive comments outweight the begative.
