LOL I just took a brief foray into the Queen Online Forum... Wouldn't suggest it if people spilling vitriol on something they haven't seen and have no intention of seeing isn't your bag. Had to LMAO at a few of the comments - delusional comes to mind. I sure hope that I never become quite so rabidly unreasonable about Adam... oh wait LOL. OMG! For the lack of anything else someone there is complaining about too many trucks and how the tour is "environmentally harmful"...seriously.... although they did find these objectionable: the couch, the crown, the changing of the outfits, too many lights and gimmicks, the audience has not practiced the clap, too gay, too many vocal runs.... Don't forget the "goat voice" and somewhere I read they were sorry show was so poorly attended (mistaking empty seats behind stage as unsold LOL all day).

Aleks, I can't even find the words. I read and reread your post and my head has not stopped nodding up and down in agreement. I hope you post this elsewhere too. Other's need to start to "get" Adam.

Just had to pull this out from above blog rant (which overall is a pretty damn good rant as these things go) ... because someone has finally summed up what bugs the shit out of me. " it’s a jab in the eye of Halflings, who pretend to tolerate Adam, but only if he is humble enough, bowed down enough, never stepping over the line, never claiming or pretending to be good enough; who don’t see him as an artist of his own for this or that reason, who will admit that he has a decent enough voice, but never ever fail to mention that he is ‘no Freddie’. They are the worst, neither discarding nor embracing, neither giving him a chance nor shooting him down; always voicing their lukewarm opinion and remaining an annoying rattle in the background, staining this beautiful collaboration."
Beautiful rant, and I'm glad you pulled this particular piece from it, bridgeymah. (Since I don't know how.) I am especially irked by the Haflings, as well, with their flaccid praise and their back-handed compliments. Glad to know I am not alone. Now I wish we had a smiley with a black eye! LOL

The Crown Gate So this would be my interpretation of the headpiece – that he got so comfortable in his relationship with Queen, that he could unleash the creator inside, give way for the artistic expression of his own and have as much fun and liberty in creating this tour together with Brian and Roger as he had while making his own. He got to play and he did it. It made me giddy with happiness. It didn’t matter whether I or anyone else liked it or not, he wanted it and got it. When I saw him with the coronet, my reaction was a huge, shit-eating grin. You go, baby! You go and make great concerts with your friends. And that little thing about the jab? I don’t know, I was probably hallucinating - I am still over my head with how phenomenal that concert was last night. Even if I do think it, I can say whatever I want here, right, because this is my post and I am the Queen of it.

My extra Atlantic City ticket has now been promised to an Atop member. But Theosgma still has an extra AC ticket for sale, same row mine was in. Should be a blast, and great acoustics, for last US concert!
