The Forum just did a HUGE remodel and their focus was to adapt it for concerts. OFC, the same group owns both venues now. So, who knows?!! I agree though that it will be one of those 2 arenas! Hopefully out by Christmas! Wouldn't they be likely to shoot at a couple of shows in case of some big glitch (such as forgotten lyrics) during a song? Yes! Absolutely a strong possibility!

They could fly in a flubbed lyric or two if need-be. They will do more big-time filming in one or two venues but they do have every show in the archive.

A day or two ago there was a video posted of the backstage crew counting off to the beginning of the show ... was that an actual countdown for QAL or just a representation of what it is like backstage just before a show? I tried to go back and find it but too many threads and comments since then ... I'd be most appreciative if someone could provide a link to it.

Some critics can be won over. I have one very critical husband at home, not just about Adam, but about almost every singer out there. He sings himself (and he's pretty good, at least, I think so ) and he knows a lot about singing. So far, what I got from him if I play him some Adam is that he doesn't like the music, or that it is too much, or he finds that one bum note in the whole song and switches off. Needless to say, I mostly keep Adam to myself now. He also thinks I am quite nuts when I'm talking about this 'Lambert guy' (and he hasn't even seen the tip of the iceberg of my obsession yet). But every once in a while, I just can't resist. So last week I made him listen to Love kills, and some snippets from the Chicago show. He just hmm'd a bit and that's it. And yesterday he caught me completely by surprise when we were talking about good and bad singing. And then he said: well, just look at Adam and Queen, they sound pretty good. And if they come to Europe, he wants to come with me to see them! Miracles happen!!

"To be fair it's not that they want them to retire. They want them to continue working on archival releases, new solo music, new music together, or touring with someone they consider more worthy...Not much different in your eyes perhaps, but subtly different "
Perhaps the slightly more reasonable feel that way, but I have seen comments (unavoidable on You Tubes) that DO believe Queen died with Freddie and Brian and Roger are money grubbing old men! << Ya, I actually read that! One of the funniest comments I read on a You Tube was, "This is nothing more than a money grubbing scheme to appeal to and sell their music to a new younger audience!" I thought, OK, and the problem with that is what, exactly?! LOL!!

The big question would be...what version? The QAL live version? Or the Queen version with Freddie. I would think quite honestly that it would be the first single off the new album. QAL playing it now is just to promote it. I cannot see them doing Love Kills any other way than the original. Even if it is nothing like the version being promo'd on QAL. An aside - has anyone noticed in that large pic of Brian posted above how youthful his forearms and hands are. All that constant exercise must pay off. They have the original Queen version which was never released -- and hopefully was less disco-y. It was going to be on The Works, but it was not included when they shifted back to rock music. It seem likely to be the single for the new/old collection and that means that it would have Freddie on vocals.

I can't find it now but someone asked about PR interacting with the band - In this case Spike, Jamie Moses, and Danny Miranda...He did at times. I do think Adam probably interacts more though. Thanks Talon....I asked the question. The whole band looks like they are having a great time up there! I had so much fun in Chicago! I forgot to mention in my recap that there was this teenage girl sitting a couple of rows down from me who was walking around before the concert with a sign that said "Adam..Your the BOMB!!" So cute!
