"To be fair it's not that they want them to retire. They want them to continue working on archival releases, new solo music, new music together, or touring with someone they consider more worthy...Not much different in your eyes perhaps, but subtly different " Perhaps the slightly more reasonable feel that way, but I have seen comments (unavoidable on You Tubes) that DO believe Queen died with Freddie and Brian and Roger are money grubbing old men! << Ya, I actually read that! One of the funniest comments I read on a You Tube was, "This is nothing more than a money grubbing scheme to appeal to and sell their music to a new younger audience!" I thought, OK, and the problem with that is what, exactly?! LOL!! Well there are some outliers...absolutely...some trolls who think that way who are far more Freddie fans than fans of the band itself. They would prefer Brian and Roger to just work on releasing archival material. *MOST* fans don't begrudge B&R playing but would happier to see someone they feel more credible fronting the project or B&R on their own doing intimate shows perhaps. I cannot see them doing Love Kills any other way than the original. Even if it is nothing like the version being promo'd on QAL. An aside - has anyone noticed in that large pic of Brian posted above how youthful his forearms and hands are. All that constant exercise must pay off. They have the original Queen version which was never released -- and hopefully was less disco-y. It was going to be on The Works, but it was not included when they shifted back to rock music. It seem likely to be the single for the new/old collection and that means that it would have Freddie on vocals. That would seem likely to me too. Whether or not brian was talking about Queen Forever - if he was talking about Love Kills in general - it's probably going to all overlap in his head...

I think it's a good decision to start the concert later. It seems that one hour is not enough for people to get seated. A big crowd moves slowly, security search takes time, bathroom and merch might interest some people etc. If I understood correctly tonight they'll close some thinly sold sections and have to assign new seats for those who had bought a ticket there. Is this the only undersold concert on the tour? I seem to remember there is one other in US on east coast that is slow to move (though guessing it will probably reverse and be sold out by time the concert rolls through given the reviews)... Won't matter to Adam or I suspect Queen - we know he gives his all whether it is a birthday party with 100 people or 350,000 people in a square in Kiev.

Talon......Who in your opinion would these Queen fans consider more worthy then Adam to tour with the remaining members of Queen? Just curious. My impression from reading on that Queen site is that most of the members would rather have any singer in the whole world who is not named Adam Lambert. I think much of their Adam hate comes from their fear that some Queen fans will actually like Adam, as if that would take anything away from Freddie. Like, if we tear down Adam Lambert, Freddie will be elavated. It's juvenile thinking to me, but reading such hatred of Adam made me sad. First for fotm - NOW who's generalizing I don't agree with that assumption. I think they don't like that he's American, that he comes from reality TV, and they don't like some very OTT Glamberts who push them down their throats. IT's a bad combination of all 3. Not saying it's right, but I don't think it's a fear thing....I truly don't/ As for who else. There would be names that they would be interested in. Tom Chaplin from Keane (who did a unanimously praised rendition of It's A Hard Life): George Michael would be somewhat liked (not by me mind you) Muse's Matt Bellamy would be well liked, I think. BUT I think a Brian/Roger show by themselves would be most well accepted by the fanbase. That would be my first wish too...and I do like Adam quite a bit and am happy to see them together! BUT for me a B&R show would be phenomenal - as it's the most purely Queen I could get.

I think Atlantic City was not selling really well? I dunno... I can't find that list again! Oh, and was it also the IZOD center?

Please, can someone tell me why every time I want to login on forum I must reset my password? Does anyone else have this kind of problem?

I had to laugh at the description they used regarding the audience diversity......it's quite a change being refered to as 'younger Glamberts'!

I simply could care less if some Queen fans don't like Adam or if they are upset with Queen's live music not being buried with Freddie. It's like being upset that not everyone likes Obama,or America, or the Pope or Brad Pitt. I mean does everybody have to have the same opinions. Isn't it just glorious that Adam and Queen have almost all sold out shows ,that people love their performances, etc. I just refuse to find a negative in any of this fantastic moment in time. But as I said above... everybody is different.. so angst away.

I think tonight was the least sold of the original dates, still decent mind you but less than others that are close to sold out.

Adam Pascal is amazing too. LOVED him in Rent. Yeah I have not heard one person slagging off Chaplin and that performance. I like Keane quite a bit too!
Tom also sang this and The Show Must Go On at a MPT function with B&R but no footage ever leaked...Would love to have heard their Show Must Go On
