One thing that really bother me from these reviews was the mention of American Idol runner up. Adam really can't get away of it, can he? 
Brian and Roger stated since the beginning that they wanted to have a meaningful conversation with Adam. To me, it means they're really interested of him and his talent. There're reasons why Brian and Roger were waiting for two years before calling him again off course. IMO, first - they have their own thing and busy, but I think they also wanted Adam to enjoy his own career journey, learn as much as he can and get more mature as a performer. AND build HIS OWN NAME out there and becoming his own household. Second - there's no opportunity to do it without testing the responds of media and fans. EMA MTV gave them that chances. IMO, they will not do this tour if Adam doesn't have his own household name or as famous as he is, because he will be easily buried in Queen's gigantic name. Since Adam in his own right is as famous, media and fans can't ignore him. It's so hard for them to ignore his huge talent. What people didn't realize is the band Queen actually makes that talent SHINE EVER MORE. Like those lasers they use in this show.  |

I wonder if we should start dumping the link to Adam's Wiki page in some of the comment sections. It's mind boggling how incorrect the "facts" surrounding Adam's career are referenced. His Wiki page is excellent.

How can I be so full of pride for someone I have never met?
Watching the videos above, this, well,...this is real. It is full of honesty. There is no auto tune, there is no lip syncing. This is what music is really about, IMO. A real show. Full of music and singing that reflects the meaning of the songs, the band and the singer having an absolute ball on stage, the audience loving it, knowing that they are sharing an experience, knowing the that band is loving them, responding to them.
That flow that Adam references. It is how magic is made.
And Brian in Bohemian Rhapsody with his gold capey sleevey thing blowing in the breeze? Adam in his red shirt glinting in the light? The chills that Bohemian Rhapsody brings me? And I have no idea what the song means, I only know what it means to me, and that it reaches deep inside me.
Magic, I tell you.

Hi guys,
I have a favor to ask, and I hope someone can help me. Who knows where to find a good audio file of WWTLF that's been edited to remove any crowd noise - does one exist? Or can somebody recommend software I can use to edit sound files from a QAL performance (though I'm not very good at that sort of thing)?
Last night my dear brother-in-law lost his ongoing battle with heart/lung disease. We would love to include Adam's version of WWTLF in Mac's memorial service, but would like to weed out background cheers, people talking, etc. Thanks!

I am so sorry for your loss, haribert. What a lovely lovely way to honor him with this powerful song. I wish I could help you, but just not techie enough. I know someone will help you with this. My sincere condolences to you and your families.

I can't help you with the technicalities, haribert, but I want to express my sincere condolences to you and your family on your loss. I hope someone can lend their expertise, because Adam's soaring voice on WWTLF would provide a lovely tribute to your brother-in-law.

My heartfelt condolences on the loss of your brother-in-law, Haribert. If a clean enough copy of WWTLF doesn't come your way, Freddie's version is beautiful too. I have the one off Queen's Greatest Hits and it's easily downloadable.

But honestly, it doesn't reach down into my soul and grab it the way Adam's does. The depth of feeling he adds to the song is unparalleled. |
