Dear Seoulmate sorry for your frustration... but then THE VOICE hopefully made it worthwhile. Your recap has made me very very happy with my decision to go for tiered side stands not floor. I am tiny and even in heels I can never see unless I am front couple of rows when people are standing and even then I alway seem to end up with some monster tall person in front of me. This way I have a fighting chance (please height gods put short person in row in front of me). Yes, bridgey... DO NOT go for floor seats unless you can maybe be in the first five rows!!

We also had some dude in the row below me who comes back in the middle of the song, munching his burger. Peeps are sitting because apparently we weren't "supposed" to stand during a ballad?!? He stands there in front of me eating and proceeds to offer his wife/girlfriend a bite. Sit The F*ck Down. It was a very strange crowd, I've never been to a concert where they seemed to want to spend their time eating, drinking, and talking to their neighbor. At least that's what my section was doing. Everyone sure clapped loudly at the end though so I'm just puzzled....

Seoulmate, I was wondering if the folks in the far back floor seats could see well. I had a pretty good seat, high enough to be able to see but not into the nosebleed section. Unfortunately I was by an entrance and there was constant activity. The usher was giving directions to people and what seemed like a nonstop parade to and fro were getting beer and going to the bathroom. They did not seem to notice that Adam was singing his heart out and would head out laughing and talking. It was an awesome show though and that crown really sparkles under the lights. I was with DD, who thought flying would be more relaxing than driving 6 hours. The return trip took about 22 hours as we had to deplane (broken radio) in Vancouver, waited hours to be rerouted and flown to Seattle where they put us in a hotel until we could fly the last 45 minutes to Portland. Adam was worth all the effort, of course. Hoping for an easier trip to Vegas! OMG and Holy Crap. 22 hours???!!!!Gosh, and we were just frustrated at the Vancouver car traffic. We got up early on Sunday, made it to the border by 8 am and all 600 miles home just 11 hours later. I'll have to tell the family that driving was the good choice.

Adam was worth all the effort, of course. Hoping for an easier trip to Vegas! I really wanted a couple of seats that were higher. I would have been thrilled to be in maybe that 103 (?) section... on the side closest the thrust. When I was on ticketmaster trying to get tickets, I hit the refresh button a hundred times, desperately hoping those seats would come up BUT THEY NEVER DID. I was terrified I was gonna get kicked off ticketmaster if I kept hitting the refresh button... so, I ended up just grabbing those floor seats. My reasoning was "these floor seats are better than nosebleeds". And they're near the soundbox, and I'm thinking the sound will be great. And the sound WAS GREAT!!! I just couldn't see the stage at all. And wtf is up with the constant activity that you and I (and tinafea?) experienced. I will never ever understand this. We had a good row that came early and sat down. Did have some people get up during the mid section but they were all skinny so we didn't have to stand up for each one. The gal below me on the aisle didn't have as easy of time. I think casual fans just weren't prepared for the length of the concert. No prelude and no intermission. They weren't prepared. Probably miss out on a lot of movies too.

Encore with my iPhone. WWRC and WATC. And you can see the audience at 7:20.

This could have been so good. But the tone-deaf audience member competing with Adam on the first few bars of the song ruined it for me. Don't mean to be harsh, but if your know someone near you is recording a performance, please don't try to audiobomb it! I love hearing the audience sing or clap. It was so neat to be a part of it, the voices all melded together like an entity to itself and Rogers Arena was filled with people singing along. The nice thing we have in the Glambert community are experts who can meld sound and video together and editing whatever's needed but those can become somewhat sterile and pristine like the iradio show where you can't tell if the audience was into it or not. Being live is an experience, it's raw and it surrounds you. To enjoy it you have to be in the moment and you can't do that if you have to check if one of the hundreds of people filming is somewhat near you. I wanted people to talk and scream and sing, I swear I missed several important parts because I was looking around me to see the rapture on faces. I completely understand Jablea! That's how I feel about concerts too. I want to feel like I'm part of an experience.

Oh seoulmate, in crying for you. Maybe laughing at how you told the story, but so, so sorry this concert was not all it should have been.

I'm so sorry that some of you had to experience such inconsiderate concert goers. WTF! It's a shame they spoiled your joy. Hopefully next time will be a much better experience for you. After all, you paid good money for a seat to the concert and you have the right, like everybody else, to enjoy yourself without being disturbed constantly. Knowing me I'd probably, in a very respectful voice, would have told them to SIT THE F*CK DOWN. In Chicago I spoke with the woman sitting next to me before the show started but once the first music chord was played...we were all up on our feet clapping and joining in singing when appropriate and we didn't speak again or move from our spot until the show was over. I had worried about maybe needing a bathroom break before the concert but I never even gave it a second thought while Adam and Queen hit the stage. I was transcended to a time and space I never wanted to leave or forget! DAY-UM! It was over way too fast.

I had the asshole security guard who stood rooted into one spot - directly in front of me. I was lucky to get a last minute seat right next to the end of the catwalk at the beginning of the row. Should have had an incredible unobstructed view. I had to spend the whole night side stepping to see around him for pictures and a couple of videos. The lady in the seat in the next row was vary gracious to let me invade her space to get some pictures and the video. I asked very politely if he could perhaps split the difference so I wouldn't be dodging his fat head all night but he just smirked and said nothing. Fucker. Anyway, here are a couple of pics. There are so many out there not sure that there are any that would be more amazing than what has been posted already.
