Dear Seoulmate sorry for your frustration... but then THE VOICE hopefully made it worthwhile. Your recap has made me very very happy with my decision to go for tiered side stands not floor. I am tiny and even in heels I can never see unless I am front couple of rows when people are standing and even then I alway seem to end up with some monster tall person in front of me. This way I have a fighting chance (please height gods put short person in row in front of me).

Seoulmate, I couldn't stop laughing reading your concert experience. Yet, I was right there with you wanting to do physical damage to those people. I don't think I could stop myself from glaring at them or just not getting out of their way until the song has ended. They must have gone to the concert already drunk. I can't even imagine why anyone would pay all that money to go then miss segments. You are right, they are going straight to hell! </img>

I actually saw two sets of people arrive almost half way through the concert. I was flabbergasted!

Seoulmate, What was the deal with peeps going in and during the MIDDLE of a song!?!? We had the same problem. Pissed me off too. Your hearing must be damaged because the lady next to me sang at the top of her lungs and I heard every fucking note. :/ In the future, go for lower level seats rather than floor. We probably had seats in the same price bracket (no VIP) but because of the tiering, I could see around heads fine. Even with all the buttheads, I'm still so happy I went, QAL is magical YES. IN THE MIDDLE OF A SONG. I DON'T KNOW WHY PEOPLE WOULD DO THAT!!!!!!! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE!!??? Re. the hearing issue.... I'm sure my ears are toast. I'm sure I don't have super hearing anymore. But, several times during the concert I tried to say something to Nan, and I was YELLING, and she couldn't hear anything I said. Me: Get ready for this next bit, because Adam does awesome things here.... Nan: Huh? Me: (shouting louder) NEXT SONG!!!! COMING UP!!!! WATCH OVER THERE!!!!! Nan: What? Me: (shrieking into her ear) WATCH THIS NEXT BIT COMING UP!!!! Nan: Huh? We also had some dude in the row below me who comes back in the middle of the song, munching his burger. Peeps are sitting because apparently we weren't "supposed" to stand during a ballad?!? He stands there in front of me eating and proceeds to offer his wife/girlfriend a bite. Sit The F*ck Down. It was a very strange crowd, I've never been to a concert where they seemed to want to spend their time eating, drinking, and talking to their neighbor. At least that's what my section was doing. Everyone sure clapped loudly at the end though so I'm just puzzled....

Seoulmate, I was wondering if the folks in the far back floor seats could see well. I had a pretty good seat, high enough to be able to see but not into the nosebleed section. Unfortunately I was by an entrance and there was constant activity. The usher was giving directions to people and what seemed like a nonstop parade to and fro were getting beer and going to the bathroom. They did not seem to notice that Adam was singing his heart out and would head out laughing and talking. It was an awesome show though and that crown really sparkles under the lights. I was with DD, who thought flying would be more relaxing than driving 6 hours. The return trip took about 22 hours as we had to deplane (broken radio) in Vancouver, waited hours to be rerouted and flown to Seattle where they put us in a hotel until we could fly the last 45 minutes to Portland. Adam was worth all the effort, of course. Hoping for an easier trip to Vegas! I really wanted a couple of seats that were higher. I would have been thrilled to be in maybe that 103 (?) section... on the side closest the thrust. When I was on ticketmaster trying to get tickets, I hit the refresh button a hundred times, desperately hoping those seats would come up BUT THEY NEVER DID. I was terrified I was gonna get kicked off ticketmaster if I kept hitting the refresh button... so, I ended up just grabbing those floor seats. My reasoning was "these floor seats are better than nosebleeds". And they're near the soundbox, and I'm thinking the sound will be great. And the sound WAS GREAT!!! I just couldn't see the stage at all. And wtf is up with the constant activity that you and I (and tinafea?) experienced. I will never ever understand this.

I was at a Garth Brooks concert a few years back, at Staples, and 4 people 2 rows in front of us went back & forth constantly. It was beer, then bathroom, over and over. If they saw 2 whole songs, I would be surprised! Lucky they were not in my row though! Loved your recap but sorry that is the only show you are seeing!
