Just remembered a couple of things from last night:
Did anyone else notice that Adam's chunky necklace fell off during the first or second song in the show? He picked it up off the floor and put it somewhere near where he keeps his water; then, as the intro to another number was happening, I watched him pick up the necklace and reattach it around his neck. He did all of this so benignly . . . such a pro. Never missed a beat.
Also, the Queen fan I sat next to had arrived early, and heard some of the sound check. I was telling him about Adam's incredible voice & range (without being too over the top!) and he said "I heard him sing 'Love of My Life' and he doesn't sound like he has anywhere near the strength of Freddie's voice." He was floored when I told him he was hearing BRIAN singing, not Adam!

Yes I saw that happen with Adam's necklace and he tossed it backwards and after the song was over (I forget what song) he bent down to retrieve it. I kept thinking I want to see if Adam goes and picks it up at the end of the song. Sure enough....he never missed a beat through the whole thing!  I was going ti mention to and forgot. Thanks for reminding me. Enjoy Vegas....and remember everybody that's going there to:   |

Unbelievable. I am so totally impressed - as much or more so than I am by the glory notes. |

On the TALC video of killer Queen in LA when he is lying down and singing, if you look closely at his belt buckle you can see the quick breaths he takes before a phrase. Perfect. |
