Plus there is the Kissing Me song he wrote recently for Kerri Ellis to sing. Yes! I did forget that one! Ok - 8 tracks! Talon, do you think the lack of songwriting on Brian's part is related to the long period of depression he suffered for many reasons post Freddie's death? Maybe together with the dynamics that happen in some bands where it is hard to create without a familiar 'conduit'. |

I guess that's possible partially...BUT he had two solo albums come out after Freddie's death...granted one of them was worked on for awhile before Freddie passed.
Personally though I feel Brian's gotten very comfortable with his catalogue and with his outside interests, he finds less time and inspiration to write.

It's been a week since I've seen this live and I've got tears streaming at seeing the Forum's video. It was amazing seeing this in person because it did seem like he was there because of the video screens. BoRhap actually is a little jarring with the Duet because Freddie already made the perfect exit here. Whether a long time Queen fan or somebody just learning about the dynamics of the group this cameo and how they've framed it just grabs you in the gut. |
