Awww quietlion, what a neat recap!
So sorry you had a Seoulmate(TM) type experience for part of the 1st night tho'. How lovely, yet bittersweet, that last convo. You know, I don't ever feel miffed when people miss Freddie. If anything - Lord forbid - should ever happen to Adam, I would want people to miss him too. Glad they still liked the show, especially Killer Queen!

Thanks Quietlion for your great recap. Yeah...I'm certainly OK with and respect the Queen fans missing Freddie. It would hurt so bad if I couldn't see Adam perform ever again. And I do miss Freddie, too. He was a charismatic performer I wish I could watch today. What I'd give to see Adam and Freddie performing on stage together with Brian, Roger, and John all 'rockin' out'!! Sorry you had a bad experience like Seoulmate with some concert goers.  But the joy of watching Adam and Queen performing up there for you made everything better I'm sure!  |

Woulden't they prefer a singer who has the vocal range and style to pull the material off, I do not understand this concept of putting the material way and leave it in the past, ask any young music consumer if they know who Queen were before Adam came along, prob 90% say Don't know what Queen was, probably know the songs but not Queen. I think for the purists it is the lesser off two evils. |

I saw Carmit and her husband ( drawn to her red hair),that Luke guy, and Taylor Green among others of Adam's LA friends (you feel like you know them, right?) as I was descending the stairs after Sunday night concert. A knot of them waiting to see Adam after the show I assume. I couldn't get a pic because of the crowd, but thought this tidbit might be of some interest to insatiable Glamberts.
