Once QAL hit Houston on the 9th of July the grind really starts. Between the 9th and the 28th is a 20 day sprint around the country with 14 shows and only 6 days off. Basically back to back with one day off except for the brutal three nights in a row that seems to make no sense. Hope Adam is stocked up on throat coat! This stretch includes a 3-in-a-row set of concerts -- Detriot, Toronto, Montreal. That is going to be tough on everyone. And really push the crew -- these cities are pretty far apart. Queen rarely adjusts the setlists -- so I think the only change will be if they do the spare song (DSMN) or not. I am really surprised they don't have a day off prior to MSG...(Philly -16th, MSG -17th,) my impression that MSG is a very important venue.... |

He may skip some of the power belts and glory notes. He is already doing some of that. We miss every one, of course, but I don't begrudge him doing it. In fact, it makes me feel better knowing he is not going to risk his voice just to "show off" a little more. There are plenty of jaw dropping moments no matter what. |
