6.30.14 Adam News and Info

This is great news! I will be there and was "thinking" about streaming. But if there are others, then most likely don't need to worry about it.

If I do it will be on LiveStream since I like the quality a little better and no commmercials. So we'll see. It all depends upon the venue wifi and if I am past the nerd stage on this.

But so happy you will all get a stream not matter what if the signal works for the streamers . I know how it feels to be here and really want to know what is going on... So wanted to give back if possible.

Yep, Adam came out with guns blazing and no apologies.  I think it was just the style he liked at the time.  He has since gotten, at least I thought he had gotten, less flamboyant (it flamboyance can indeed be defined by makeup and shiny clothes, in which case almost every 5 year old child *changed to avoid gender specificity* loves to be flamboyant at times).  

I admire his style arc, because he came to the public's attention as exactly who he was at the time, IMO.  Side eye: Except I have always wondered why there was that charade of his parents giving the impression they were together, apparently at the behest of AI, according the Amy, the Dadbert's significant other:  article

Anyway, Adam's arc of less makeup, IMO, occurred pretty organically.  Maybe it was because of pressure, or capitulation, I guess we will never know, but this fan doesn't think so.  I think his style  just evolved and changed.  He says he is easily bored.  My point is, I think he changed his style because he wanted to, not to make the road to success easier, not to quell the critics.

Although the boy is not stupid, and may have taken into consideration all those factors, I think he is remaining true to himself.  I think the change is because he wants to, not because people say things.  So he was true to himself at the beginning, and I think has stayed true to himself with recent changes.

He could have stayed in the closet, or presented himself less flamboyantly in the beginning, but he didn't.  That for me indicates that he is making changes for himself, not to bow to any opinion.  I think he is a brave boy.  And I think it was a harder road for him because of that.

But, I have always thought his talent would out,  It is just too big, too rare, too special (IMO) not to.

NOTE:  Not comparing or even addressing Sam Smith here, don't know much about him.

ETA:  Thanks, shimoli710!  I knew it would be something hot, followed, of course, by that laugh.  He is in on the joke, for sure.
