Ok Adamtopia members, I need HELP! I'm feeling so deflated after reading "Jim's Review" and even more after reading the comment section from people in attendance. I was so excited about this tour after the initial I Heart show and the first couple of reviews in Canada but last night really brought me down. I'm actually feeling a sense of worry and I'm going to concerts in MSG and Merriweather. I'm so, so, so tired of hearing "he's no Freddie". Freddie was no Adam either. I think Adam's swagger, sex appeal and his voice are unmatched by, dare I say, even by Freddie. I listened to Freddie's Live Aid performance yesterday; Freddie's command of the audience is unmatched but his voice had a lot of mistakes, something Adam never does and Freddie isn't sexy like Adam. For critics to say the San Jose show was nothing more than a cover band makes me sick. I dare any cover band to sing Somebody to Love like Adam does, or WWTLF, Love Kills or KQ. I'm starting to feel nervous for Adam, he seemed to get so much love after the original I Heart last year...what's changed. I have to admit I don't love some of the song choices, the intro song leaves me cold, it's boring and does nothing for Adams voice, need a much more exciting heavy intro. I love Stone Cold Crazy but they need to pump up the volume on Adam's mic, they are giving the instrumentals too much volume at Adam's expense on several songs. Why isn't he singing Dragon Attack, he said it was his favorite and couldn't wait to do it on tour...it was my favorite and definitely the sexiest. I miss I Want to Break Free, again the audience absolutely loved it...don't get it. Lastly, why isn't he singing the "glory" note on Under Pressure and WWTLF, that note on WWTLF was what got everyone talking including Dr. Bri. I'm hoping to hear some positive reviews over the next few shows so I can get my enthusiasm back...I can't believe I'm letting this negativity get to me...sad face Wait! Are you saying fans here who went to the shows have negative reviews? I admit I haven't had time to read them. As for the reviewer of the San Jose show - he is known to have disliked Adam since he was on Idol. Many ppl expected an even worse review from him because of his negative tweets during the show. I went to bed LOL & didn't see them. He apparently brought up Taylor Hicks twice so what does that tell you? To be honest I have only seen two marginal reviews - this one & the one that described Adam's voice as bland. What am I missing?

Ok Adamtopia members, I need HELP! I'm feeling so deflated after reading "Jim's Review" Awww... No worries bb - The audience reactions have been AWESOME, and Jim's review isn't even bad for a die-hard "Freddie" fan!! Even he was forced to say nice things! Both Adam and Queen are actually getting fantastic reviews. No need to worry bb. Its all totally ok.

Thebean....if you let any on the non positive reviews and posted comments get to you just watch this video at 4:35 and see and listen to the roaring cheers for Adam the 'new boy' because, to me, that's all that matters....the audience and Brian and Rogers love for Adam and his amazing talent! It'll make you feel good!

Thanks JazzRocks and HoppersSkippersMiners, I feel better. I guess I'm really tired of hearing from everyone, even fans "he's no Freddie" I wish they would just rate Adam on his own merit with Queen. Freddie was an amazing singer and yes a Rock God, but so is Adam and I think he's just as spectacular in his own right. The negative comments that I read weren't from Adamtopia they were from people that attended the concert in San Jose though, they were in the comments section under Jim's San Jose review.

Both Adam and Queen are actually getting fantastic reviews. No need to worry bb. Its all totally ok. I have made a list of all review titles that I could find within 10 minutes: * Queen, Adam Lambert shine in San Jose * Queen’s Brian May showcases doctorate of riffology in Vancouver * Queen guitarist Brian May is godlike in Vancouver * All hail rock royalty — Queen’s legacy kept alive and well * Queen plus Adam Lambert adds up to solid rock show * Rejuvenated Queen reigns supreme * Edmonton Queen fans welcome Adam Lambert at Rexall Place * Adam Lambert did Freddie Mercury proud last night * Queen, Adam Lambert Blast Off With Bombastic Tour Opener Not too bad, right?? And it is always tricky to read comments on an article, especially if there is some arguing going on already. You never know which people actually have an opinion and which are just stating something to put oil on the fire. These concerts are going to be GREAT. There are going to be more great reviews. And there are probably going to be bad reviews as well. But that doesn't change the fact that this tour is almost sold out and that Adam, Brian, Roger and (most of) the audience are having the time of their lives! Don't let the negative people get to you, or like Adam says 'they can stay home, but they are going to miss a great show'

Kind of answered your own question there Don't let any comment that someone happens to vomit up harsh your buzz- it's just one more nattering nabob. You control what you let into your head! (And the places where this sort of negativity exists? Don't go there.)
