I wonder if everyone has developed some extra love towards some songs and less towards others now that we've been thru several concerts? I was listening to the stream last night and I surprised myself by realizing that I certainly have ... My hands down favorite at the moment is KQ, couch and all...just so much fun! WWTLF is a close contender for totally different reasons of course, no need to explain...Love Kills and TSMGO are almost in the same bucket. On the tail end - I can be very happy not hearing FBG ever again...Something about the song is off for me, not sure what it is (and its the song, not delivery)... The whole "hard rock" beginning is not my cup of tea at all, so Now I'm Here and Stone Cold Crazy are still lagging for me... Never liked Radio Gaga and still don't... I wonder if my perception will change as the tour progresses and I get my chance to experience it with my whole body! Brian's solo is a separate category and some moments there are worship worthy IMO.... Would you like to share yours? I have different favorites from 2014 QAL than I had in the past. Two of my favorites from iHR Music Festival 2013 and London 2012 -- CLTCL and ABTD -- are not my favs in this concert. Nothing wrong with how they are done but these two songs felt like songs that connected the big moments. For me I love STL, WWTLF, TSMGO, KQ, LOML + 39, UP and BoRhap in the 2014 show. I found that intro songs better live than on the recordings/live stream but this is not intended to be a vocal showcase. These songs never were. They were more about powerful guitars and percussion. That said, I do not understand the logic of the opening sequence. Procession/Flash Now I'm Here (Adam does not shine on this vocal -- I think they should have almost made it an instrumental and had him sing the intro part only) Stone Cold Crazy Another One Bites the Dust (this funk song is lost here, I think it would be better after CLTCL) Fat Bottomed Girls (seems better since the dropped the sing-along but I would also move this) In the Lap of the Gods... Revisited Seven Seas of Rhye >> I would have preferred that string of 1974 songs in a row with KQ as the transition. But I am certain they did not want to do 5 songs in a row from 1974 with no hits...and I do not blame them. Most of the people in the audience do know "Sheer Heart Attack" except for "Killer Queen". Procession Now I'm Here Stone Cold Crazy In the Lap of the Gods... Revisited Seven Seas of Rhye Killer Queen Somebody to Love I Want It All Another One Bites the Dust Fat Bottomed Girls .... But that really is a quibble in a great show.

Why oh why have they not included "PRINCES OF THE UNIVERSE"? Someone on my plane last night asked me if I was a Queen or Adam Lambert fan when we were discussing my reason for attending the concert - my answer, "I'm definitely an Adam fan (and gave her/him multiple reasons why) but since his pairing with Queen I am also a big Queen fan." Thanks to Talon for the history lessons, also. Adam makes Queen's music come alive for me. I love it all. I can tell from the videos that the whole concert is improving. Chicago was great but I believe LA will be an improvement. By the time Philli and MSG come for me, I'll have an idea what Heaven will be like. I am with you on this one! I thought it would've been a perfect opening number! (as my contest entry indicated)...

Ok Adamtopia members, I need HELP! I'm feeling so deflated after reading "Jim's Review" and even more after reading the comment section from people in attendance. I was so excited about this tour after the initial I Heart show and the first couple of reviews in Canada but last night really brought me down. I'm actually feeling a sense of worry and I'm going to concerts in MSG and Merriweather. I'm so, so, so tired of hearing "he's no Freddie". Freddie was no Adam either. I think Adam's swagger, sex appeal and his voice are unmatched by, dare I say, even by Freddie. I listened to Freddie's Live Aid performance yesterday; Freddie's command of the audience is unmatched but his voice had a lot of mistakes, something Adam never does and Freddie isn't sexy like Adam. For critics to say the San Jose show was nothing more than a cover band makes me sick. I dare any cover band to sing Somebody to Love like Adam does, or WWTLF, Love Kills or KQ. I'm starting to feel nervous for Adam, he seemed to get so much love after the original I Heart last year...what's changed.
I have to admit I don't love some of the song choices, the intro song leaves me cold, it's boring and does nothing for Adams voice, need a much more exciting heavy intro. I love Stone Cold Crazy but they need to pump up the volume on Adam's mic, they are giving the instrumentals too much volume at Adam's expense on several songs. Why isn't he singing Dragon Attack, he said it was his favorite and couldn't wait to do it on tour...it was my favorite and definitely the sexiest. I miss I Want to Break Free, again the audience absolutely loved it...don't get it. Lastly, why isn't he singing the "glory" note on Under Pressure and WWTLF, that note on WWTLF was what got everyone talking including Dr. Bri.
I'm hoping to hear some positive reviews over the next few shows so I can get my enthusiasm back...I can't believe I'm letting this negativity get to me...sad face

One more thing, what the hell is everyone sitting down for and why are they telling people to be quiet and sit down... Looking at Butterknife's stream the whole top section was just sitting there and not even clapping...It's suppose to be a rock concert, get up and scream!!! Adam could do the call and response with the audience on AOBTD if he would keep it a lot more simple so the audience would actually respond.

On this vid the curtain didn't go up at the beginning of the show but fell on the floor and the crew was picking it up and getting it out of the way. Gelly @14gelly 31m Close !
