I wonder if Adam will get things thrown up on stage in his 'home town' tomorrow night?! This must be a first for Queen getting leopard bras and panties thrown on stage!lol

Thanks guys, I love Adamtopia... No more comments sections for me unless it's just to post something positive! There is an unwritten law (that I have broken at times myself) - NEVER READ THE COMMENTS! It rarely turns out well lol. And I'm asking again - where are the concert reviews here? On page one of the concert threads -- or in them at the end if we have not collected that thread yet.

I'm curious - does anyone here know for certain - is it champagne or water?

Does any know if Cher or Cindy L. tweeted about the concert? I read somewhere that they were there.

He also said they were like MUSE who are generally considered possibly the best live rock act tour now. So I would just let that one fly away in "LALALALALLA".Queen has never gotten North American reviews this good, never. Go back and look. You will be shocked.

Thanks JazzRocks and HoppersSkippersMiners, I feel better. I guess I'm really tired of hearing from everyone, even fans "he's no Freddie" I wish they would just rate Adam on his own merit with Queen. Freddie was an amazing singer and yes a Rock God, but so is Adam and I think he's just as spectacular in his own right. The negative comments that I read weren't from Adamtopia they were from people that attended the concert in San Jose though, they were in the comments section under Jim's San Jose review. I was there last night and really cannot imagine why someone would give that concert a bad review. Maybe this will make you feel a little better. I went with my sister. A friend didn't go with us but with her boyfriend. Sister and friend were casual fans of Adam, both seen them once with me, thought he had a great voice. The boyfriend did not like Adam, even after my friend played him the FYE CD. After the show, both my sister and friend are saying that Adam is the best male vocalist out there today. Friend even said best voice in this or past generations (except for opera singers, but she said Adam is more flexible). The boyfriend who did not like Adam said he thought Adam did a great job and can now understand why my friend likes him. All three enjoyed every minute of it. During the show, my sister over and over kept saying "amazing", especially during Love Kills and WWTLF. She also couldn't get over how handsome he was. She said every time he came on the screen, it looked like a glamour shot. The reviews by people who didn't like Adam before but changed their minds are the ones I savor the most. The fact that my friend's boyfriend changed his mind really made my day. I kept telling her, he just has to see him live. And that's all it took.

There is an unwritten law (that I have broken at times myself) - NEVER READ THE COMMENTS! It rarely turns out well lol. And I'm asking again - where are the concert reviews here? They are posted in the relevant concert threads and generally, a post is put in the daily thread, the day posted, to let peeps know that is where they are. For example, I just posted my recap a few hours ago and I posted a comment here to let interested people know it is there. So....for mine, go to the Vancouver concert thread....there are several recaps in the latter few pages....cheers oops...just realized you wanted reviews...not recaps...but again, if it is only the positive reviews you want to see, maybe our recaps would be the thing....

Regarding song choices/favorites: I would be happy to NEVER hear FBG again. Didn't like it sung by Freddie or Adam--just don't like anything about that song!
Now Radio Ga Ga---Now that's a different story! The footage of Adam singing that song in Kiev will stay in my mind forever. There's a simple beauty in the melody, the background of the song as it related to Roger's son, is sweet and charming, the lyrics themselves hold so true for me,{ as a young girl, my cheap, little, black transistor radio provided more joy and companionship than I ever could articulate here,} and most of all, I love the joy that descends on the masses as they join in unison with the clapping and singing! Just about all the songs in this concert set list are wonderful, but like so many of you,I agree that WWTLF is truly A Thing of Beauty-to quote Keats.
I can hardly wait till tomorrow. The time has come at last to see QAL at the Forum! Thank you again to all of you here who have enhanced my knowledge and understanding of the Queen catalogue of music-especially Talon and Q3. Because of you , the whole experience will be heightened above measure.
Now, my only question is,"How will I ever be able to sleep a wink tonight?"
