I wonder if everyone has developed some extra love towards some songs and less towards others now that we've been thru several concerts? Great question! For me, the big surprise was Now I'm here. I didn't really know the song, but I love it now. Love the song, love the weird rhythm, love the fact that Adam dares to use this as his opening statement. "Now I'm here, Think I'll stay around" And that smile when he listens to his own voice being repeated on one of the vids (Edmonton, I think).
Funny thing is that most of the time Adam ruins every song he sings for me. Just can't listen to the original anymore. But with Queen it's just the opposite, he makes me discover songs that I didn't give enough attention before. The original Now I'm here has earned itself a firm spot in my 50-most-favorite-songs playlist. Same thing happened with Killer Queen. That song is just so great, and fun, and campy. Why didn't I hear that before? The only problem with that song is: my otherwise awesome seat is at the back of the couch. I wouldn't mind Adam getting me wet
Like: STL, Love Kills, WWTLF, DSMN (an old favorite of mine) Don't like so much: FBG, WATC (but all is well if I can watch Adam with a crown, so let's keep that last one) Want to hear: You take my breath away (as a nice, tender, small song, like Wildest Moments, not as another power ballad)

I was there last night and really cannot imagine why someone would give that concert a bad review. Maybe this will make you feel a little better. I went with my sister. A friend didn't go with us but with her boyfriend. Sister and friend were casual fans of Adam, both seen them once with me, thought he had a great voice. The boyfriend did not like Adam, even after my friend played him the FYE CD. After the show, both my sister and friend are saying that Adam is the best male vocalist out there today. Friend even said best voice in this or past generations (except for opera singers, but she said Adam is more flexible). The boyfriend who did not like Adam said he thought Adam did a great job and can now understand why my friend likes him. All three enjoyed every minute of it. During the show, my sister over and over kept saying "amazing", especially during Love Kills and WWTLF. She also couldn't get over how handsome he was. She said every time he came on the screen, it looked like a glamour shot. The reviews by people who didn't like Adam before but changed their minds are the ones I savor the most. The fact that my friend's boyfriend changed his mind really made my day. I kept telling her, he just has to see him live. And that's all it too k. Thelambertluvva your story makes me so happy! Isn't it wonderful when people who never really gave AFL a chance, once they experience him live, become real fans!!

So funny! I was just talking to a guy from Apple customer service about my iPhone, and I mentioned I was going to Las Vegas and we had a nice little conversation about how great the Las Vegas heat was for his arthritis and how he flourished in that heat, while his kids were beaten down by it, comparing the dry heat to the humid heat in Florida, etc.. :D Then, I tell him I'm going to see Queen and Adam Lambert there, and another long conversation ensues about Queen and how he felt that no one could take the place of Freddie, etc.. Of course, I come clean and tell him I'm really an Adam fan that "discovered" Queen through Adam, and talk up Adam and the tour a little bit. He said that he wasn't necessarily a fan of Queen, but a fan of good music, and appreciated the music of that generation because he felt it was real music. He did seem to know quite alot about Queen and their music though, and said he'd check out the youtubes of the show and see where else they're playing. He also mentioned that he listens to Alice Cooper's radio show, and that Alice Cooper mentioned once that after he heard Adam, he knew that he was the person to sing with Queen. Interesting tidbit. After a while I was ready to end the convo, my question about my iPhone having already been answered quite a while ago, but the guy kept going about all the different old-time music acts out there, like Kiss and others.. The only thing that saved me was a bad phone connection, so I had to eventually hang up. Afterwards, I received a really sweet email from him saying.. Sorry the connection got bad at the end, thank you for all the information on the Queen shows I will check that out when I get off work. Thanks for beng the bright point of my day.

thebean, or anyone else that is reading the comments in that review. DO NOT BELIEVE FOR A MINUTE THOSE PEOPLE WHO SAY THEY WERE THERE, WERE ACTUALLY THERE! They think by saying that, it gives them credibility! It doesn't. They are trolls that go from one site to another to bash whoever they are in the mood to bash. Did you see the videos? Did you hear the crowd? Did you see that it was SOLD OUT!!! IGNORE THE TROLLS!!!!!! This tour is nothing but 100% WIN for Adam and Queen!

I'm curious - does anyone here know for certain - is it champagne or water? It is water.
