I wonder if everyone has developed some extra love towards some songs and less towards others now that we've been thru several concerts? I was listening to the stream last night and I surprised myself by realizing that I certainly have ... My hands down favorite at the moment is KQ, couch and all...just so much fun! WWTLF is a close contender for totally different reasons of course, no need to explain...Love Kills and TSMGO are almost in the same bucket. On the tail end - I can be very happy not hearing FBG ever again...Something about the song is off for me, not sure what it is (and its the song, not delivery)... The whole "hard rock" beginning is not my cup of tea at all, so Now I'm Here and Stone Cold Crazy are still lagging for me... Never liked Radio Gaga and still don't... I wonder if my perception will change as the tour progresses and I get my chance to experience it with my whole body! Brian's solo is a separate category and some moments there are worship worthy IMO.... Would you like to share yours? I am not a big fan of Don't Stop Me Now. I really am liking Tie Your Mother Down which had not enjoyed before. Favorites are WWTLF and Love Kills. Crazy little thing called Love still gets me going too. lol That is a really good question! I agree...the first vid I want to go to is the Killer Queen....which I had not particularly liked prior to Adam's campy version.....it is the defining and separating moment on this tour, in many ways. Adam clearly puts his huge stamp on it!! This is the first time I have enjoyed CLTCL actually..never cared for it before. Love Love Kills and pretty well all the big ballad moments. I like Radio Gaga but this is one of the few I really do prefer Freddie on...it is a hard one for Adam to conquer, for some reason, and while he is always an amazing singer, he just doesn't inhabit this one, likely because it is quintessential Freddie for many casual Queen fans. The only part of the show I am not crazy about is that opening...I don't really like much about it and it is just cacophonous noise to me...until Lap of the Gods, which I love!....that is when I connect. But it is kind of a good thing...there is plenty of time to take in the spectacle that is queen....get the sensory overload done with and get your bearings. Would prefer, personally, that "Well I got my boots on......" and then straight into Queens-land....:-)

Lost my avatar :( Have to substitute this one until I can figure out how to load a flippin' gif. First try never works for me. Umm... no worries, this one will do nicely for the time being, coo.coo.ca.choo.

Why oh why have they not included "PRINCES OF THE UNIVERSE"? Someone on my plane last night asked me if I was a Queen or Adam Lambert fan when we were discussing my reason for attending the concert - my answer, "I'm definitely an Adam fan (and gave her/him multiple reasons why) but since his pairing with Queen I am also a big Queen fan." Thanks to Talon for the history lessons, also.
Adam makes Queen's music come alive for me. I love it all. I can tell from the videos that the whole concert is improving. Chicago was great but I believe LA will be an improvement. By the time Philli and MSG come for me, I'll have an idea what Heaven will be like.

I understand that everyone has an opinion, that different folks enjoy things in different ways, that there is negativity in the real world and that my opinion is not worth any more than anyone else's. With those disclaimers in place, and regarding this: graciejane wrote:my opinion is the same. When I am on that wonderful high of watching the videos from a concert, seeing the magic happen, seeing the superlatives in the tweets, it brings me out of my enjoyment when critic discussions and negativity and retorts begin. I fully understand that anyone who doesn't get the concert, the confluence of the new and the old, the incredible talent, well, again, the magic, is hard to understand. But lets not let them intrude on us. We know full well, in our hearts and our guts that this is history being made. Let's ride that wave and not give any power to the negativity. I'm not an ostrich, I know it's out there, but I don't want to feed it or let if take away one little drop of the joy that this boy brings me. I was going to PM graciejane, but I admire her for expressing herself, and didn't want her to stand alone. And again, my opinion only, my feelings only. Not trying to dictate to the board, or judge anyone. This is just the way I feel. Well put!! graceijane and redpanda, I deeply concur. On with the Show!!
