Killer Queen sounds very cheesy and campy but I wonder if anyone knows that singing with your back flat on the couch and then with the sit up position is not easy? Adam makes it looks easy. I remember when Andrew Lloyd Webber on AI and he asked Daughtry to sing while laying on the floor and he cannot do it and never thought that it's actually hard to do.

I feel like Adam works his ass off during the entire show and at the very end when he has the crowd in his hand he gives the stage over to Freddie. Sometimes it hits me in a weird way. Like, oh yeah, after all that work you are still only filling in. BUT, Adam loves Freddie and has always acknowledged him as a major influence. So, in most respects I just take it as "it is what it is". No disrespect intended. I think there are better places in the program to do this song. Yep that's it for me in a nutshell. And Cassie and Nica I. Also get the comparison thing (same for me) but on the flip it just feeds the whole your good but you'll never quite measure up son thing that sticks in my craw. Hell with the dollars being spent on this show the whole men's chorus thing wouldn't cost that much :-) come on it would be fabulous just imagine. sure it would be fabulous! how many people would this be? 20? 30? 50? pay, transport, feed, house, bedazzle their outfits! But if expenses are no problem then a small-ish symphony orchestra will do as well...  |

A men's chorus live every show? What the hell! Let's do it! nope! it'll take $s out of BB's pocket, and I don't like that! I can live without harmonies...  :D  ...It's a glorious, rich full show. We got Adam and we got the guys giving us a wondrous concert. Why mess with success. This show is costing them a bundle. Why add more cost for unneeded additions. Actually, the only place that I read that the show is lacking - other than one or two asshat reviews, is here. I find that ironic.  ETA - besides, the show is QUEEN + ADAM LAMBERT. Not QUEEN + ADAM LAMBERT + A MENS CHORUS + 50 dancers - or whatever some feel it needs to make it satisfactory. Let's just fill up the stage with performers and lose Queen + Adam LAMBERT entirely. Anyway all this dissatisfaction is giving me the itching hives. |
