No one questions from which party the idea to do LK now has stemmed. The talk was about when Adam got acquainted with the song and possibly viewed it as a good material for his interpretation. Which is our prime concern here. Well that was also part of the discussion...He stated that Brian emailed him the track (the newer version I'd assume given the talk of it going on the new Queen album) which he listened to and thought was very cool so when Brian asked if they should do it, Adam went for it...So Adam may have heard it in Metropolis a while ago, but most likely it was from hearing the new interpretation (I'm assuming the new Queen one will be done in a similar vein as to how Adam is doing it now.). I am just so happy they have done it. I love the contrast between Adam's low and high register on it. In that sense, it reminds me of Runnin, one of Adam's greatest songs. Adam's voice is simply beautiful there. Of course, I don't know that, but I think Brian and Roger knew that Adam would do a spectacular job with it and that's why they chose it, and that makes me all kinds of happy, since we share the same love

Read through all the comments on the LA Times hatchet piece, so glad that so many who attended the concert fought back! The reviewer should learn that when you put someone else's hard work down so you can look cool, it never works. Shame that it had to happen in Adam's hometown paper, but at least he knows the rest of the world--and both fandoms--are behind him!
