Yesterday one of our members had posted that Adam's people had been contacted a number of times regarding his interest in Helmit and the Angry Inch. I'm sorry I don't remember who posted it but she was talking to someone over the 4th that is closely associated with the show. In any case, the news was thrilling as it was validation that Broadway is interested. Then, this a.m. as I'm doing my usual Adam musings (is there a performance tonight? where? you know!)it dawned on me that "broadway had contacted him BUT his schedule was FULL!" YAY!! Queen and A3 will keep him very busy for quite awhile! And, besides, I can hear the reviews already, "Adam is great BUT he's no NPH!" [sarcasm] I'd take that with a huge grain of salt. I remember reading that they already had someone lined up to take over in the lead role of Hedwig (not Helmit). I wonder how inclined they would be to cast Adam in the role of Hedwig since I think part of the point of Hedwig is that she's not a very attractive girl...whereas Adam is quite beautiful when dressed in drag. |

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes. I love everything about Adamtopia and I am having the best summer ever because of the wonderful people who post here! I really appreciate all the pictures, videos, and information that you share. Adam is my drug of choice and you all help me satisfy my need. My favorite concert so far is Vegas #1. Had me in tears and thanking God that I am alive and able to experience this most amazing and magnificent young man. Wishing everyone here a wonderful day!  |

And Andrew Rannells, who is replacing NPH, was just announced as the replacement. The point I think the company manager was making is they are thinking long term for the show and will need other replacements to keep the show running. But I agree, now is not the time for Adam to be on Broadway especially as a replacement. Album#3 first! |

I'm bringing this picture over from the concert thread as a talking point as I don't think we've discussed his Queen tattoo since the tour started. We then had said that it was kind of weird that he didn't use the Queen kingly crown on the tattoo. So question.... did he already have the crown when he got tattooted or did he go and find a crown to match the tattoo? And had he already seen the designs so he knew about the stage b and had that incorporated into what we had see at the end of the tail/tongue/thrust. Did he draw the design himself or just describe it to the artist? Great pic!!

I'm gonna go with Adam knew about the set design and the costuming when he designed the tattoo. I think plans have been going back and forth across the ocean for months, even before the announcement in April.
