Happy for everyone going to see the show tonight. My advice? Pay attention, it goes by surprisingly fast! Leading to thanks again to all those who give us the lovely photos and videos for reliving the moment. Morning musings: Probably really late to this thought, but if Adam's new album is close to ready that would mean that some or most has already been recorded, I think. So that would mean that band has already been busy recording, right?
So Tommy and Ashley and the others are already working. I've been concerned about Tommy's income, totally inappropriate probably, but I know Ashley has other gigs and Brian seems to also. Maybe I just don't know what other things Tommy might be doing and getting paid for. Or possibly the income from the previous tour and albums was enough to cover for a while. What can I say, I'm a fretter.
And in other news, I am, totally unexpectedly, rather obsessed with In The Lap of the Gods. The 'band' doesn't record for Adam's albums (I think Tommy was credited with playing guitar on one song on Trespassing) and I don't really expect that to change for A3.

On this week’s Hump Day with Adam Lambert, Adam continues the Queen tour, blasting off around the U.S.
Since the last time we left, Adam and Queen played San Jose, The L.A Forum, and Las Vegas. We’ll take a look at the Vegas show next week, but for now, let’s head to California. Here’s a hot gallery from the San Jose show.
(Pics here)
Adam Performance Of The Week Each week we post a performance clip from the past or present that showcases the passion, energy, and … magic that Adam brings to the stage. We’ll have coverage of the Vegas shows next week, but here’s a preview – “The Show Must Go On!” (thanks to Ereshkigal)

I'll say this again after watching/seeing Brian, Roger, Rufus, SPike and Neil ADAM NEEDS to update . THis current band has pushed him so ahead of the game, it's unbelievable. I don't want him to go back he needs better musicians to support him. He is riding the wave to go stratesperic

I'm sneaking here on line because I had to post info for the ticket but last night I was re-visiting and listening to the YT's
THe one that caught my attention was LOVE KILLS from I believe the forum (I shld wait until I get home to make sure it's that version) well the whole point being, was Adam's voice was so tender and yet powerful, that I glanced to look at Brian and he looked as though we was fighting back tears!!! just wonderful
GETTING EXCITED MY CONCERTS ARE COMING UP... not yet but soon.

Great essay, Q3, thank you. Already sent it to DH, and he liked it, too. So informative ...the link should be shared everywhere (except Members Only) .

Q3 enjoyed your concert review and story line
I have noticed one thing that has not been commented on and that is a lyric change in Now I Am Here that is clearly deliberate and appears to harken back that that very first U.S. Show. The line "Down in the city just Hoople 'n' me, Don't I love him so" has become "Down in the front row just Freddie 'n' me, Don't I love him so."
Thoughts?

I don't want him to go back he needs better musicians to support him. He is riding the wave to go stratesperic Hmmm, I disagree, crazyoldgal. Adam Lambert is a solo act. He WAS in a group that consisted of great musicians (Citizen Vein), but there (if you watch one or two performances they did in some bars/clubs) he didn't really SHINE - he looked like just one piece of the machine, he was just another member of the group and (in my opinion) Monte Pittman, the guitarist, looked more like the star of that band, than Adam did. That is what usually happens with bands--the singer is just one part. But, when a singer is somebody with REAL talent, they often leave the band to do the solo thing. Adam made the right choice when he called it quits with Citizen Vein and decided to try and make it on his own. Cause then ALL eyes were on HIM, and he could just explode like the star (the super nova) that he truly is.
