Re, the band discussion, I really think it is too early to discuss that further. I think we are all caught up with the Queen sound and the QAL experience right now and we should be.
A3 will be something entirely different, and none of us know, what that will be. It boggles my mind, just thinking that Adam can presently be heard on the EDM club circuit and on Lipton commercials with LMD, has at least one major song and probably multiple others hiding somewhere in Nile's backpocket (Nile, who just played with Prince, btw, but also works with Avicii), that he is being listened to and talked about by Heavy Metal rockers like Rob Halford, or Hard Rock drummers like Matt Sorum (G&R) on one hand, as well as musical theater geeks/performers and managers over on Broadway on the other, that he is presently touring as the frontman of Queen, while also writing hits together with the best of the best in Max Martin's commercial hit factory, and we want to make any guesses as to what musicians he will need, when touring the material that is hence to come forth?
It astounds, yet does not surprise me that Adam does not just go into writing camp with Max Martin and dumps the results out as his new record. He takes it all in, knows clearly he has a few great songs on there, but is not convinced about a few others, and so he soldiers on, tries to find a different time, place and avenue for the remainder of his material after the QAL tour.
Adam follows his own inner artistic drum, and that will lead him to what music he will put out, and eventually, what musicians he will need.
I am very sorry, but I don't particularly care what day job Tommy has to find to bridge the gap, til Adam employs him again, I really don't. I care even less about any of the three others, tbh, or whether they come back for that matter.
Adam will always be the star of his show. He naturally is, no matter how talented the players are that are with him, he will always shine. He can safely go for the best that is available to him for the type of music he wants to make, and he will not have to worry about being the star. Never. I wish Adam people who are a match to his talent and can inspire him back, instead of him having to pull the train alone all the time, which is what it seemed like to me, the last few years. But whether this magic will come together at that time, will be tbh 'In the Laps of the Gods', the music gods that is.
Not going to worry about that now.

I'll say this again after watching/seeing Brian, Roger, Rufus, SPike and Neil ADAM NEEDS to update . THis current band has pushed him so ahead of the game, it's unbelievable. I don't want him to go back he needs better musicians to support him. He is riding the wave to go stratesperic Hmmm, I disagree, crazyoldgal. Adam Lambert is a solo act. He WAS in a group that consisted of great musicians (Citizen Vein), but there (if you watch one or two performances they did in some bars/clubs) he didn't really SHINE - he looked like just one piece of the machine, he was just another member of the group and (in my opinion) Monte Pittman, the guitarist, looked more like the star of that band, than Adam did. That is what usually happens with bands--the singer is just one part. But, when a singer is somebody with REAL talent, they often leave the band to do the solo thing. Adam made the right choice when he called it quits with Citizen Vein and decided to try and make it on his own. Cause then ALL eyes were on HIM, and he could just explode like the star (the super nova) that he truly is. IMO, Adam the front man from The Citizen Vein era and Adam the front man now..... in 2014........ two completely different animals. Steve Sidelnyk, Tommy Victor and Monte Pittman would not stand out in front of this AFL. The two eras aren't comparable at all. He was a kid then...... just getting his feet wet as a rock frontman.
