Hi all! Totally enjoying all the videos, recaps and discussions today. Thanks for sharing it all with us here!  This is a little OT, but I was hoping some techy person here could help me resolve a problem I am suddenly having with viewing YTubes on my iPad that are posted on sites other than YT itself. Like here! Just started this morning....every video I clicked on here (and another site also, so I know it's not ATop specific), the video, starts but I get a large 2"x2" white box in the middle of the screen with "get video URL....get video URL at current time.....get embed code.....report playback issue"....and about 4-5 more lines of techy "stuff". There is nothing I can see that I can click on to remove it, so it stays up there for the whole video....blocking my view of QAL!! Totally unacceptable! If I go to YTube to view a video, I don't get this. I thought perhaps it's their latest ploy to get us all to view the vids on their site, but I don't see anyone else complaining here so I guess it's just me?  #gettingparanoidhere I have exactly the same thing....just started. If you click on full page, the square disappears but not otherwise. I agree....it is a pain in the butt.....forces me to stop reading and give the dear boy all of my attention!!  What shall I do...lol |

Embedded videos sometime work and most often not. I just click the headline (top) or the YT icon (down right) which opens a new tab and the video on YT. Why not watch it there? Enlarging and all is possible then, easier to bookmark if you so wish etc. I have another little problem when there are so many concerts and videos posted from several of them. If the name of the uploader were mentioned I would avoid a lot of unnecessary clicks to videos that I've already seen. Thanks for the reply! That's what I've been doing but was curious why this just started today.  I've long ago given up trying to understand why as there are constant updates on YT, browser, windows, security etc. Any part of your computer package might be the culprit. Sometimes it sorts itself out in a day or two as the other parts catch up (maybe?). Perhaps our techies can offer something more substantial. |

Ummm new thingie I just did . . . Remember when some briefs were thrown onstage ? And Adam picked them up and said "Thank you , I shall wear them as a hat !!" Well here he is , werking the "hat" Hope it's funny lol . I think what is absolutely phenomenal is that.......5 years after idol Adam's fame and stardom continues to rise even without that mega hit song. And after 5 years financially he is better off than I am after a rewarding and well paid career which has left my husband and myself very comfortably retired. So whatever Adam is doing to promote himself he is doing a great job and I don't think A3 will not make him or break him. I honestly hope it's a masterpiece but I think that is just the next thing on Adam's agenda. I believe that he will be on TV and in movies. I get the feeling and he has said this also..... that he has a restless nature and he needs continual challenges. I think he will be epic and this slower build to fame is more lasting than some of the one hit wonders we have seen. I think of David Cook who did ok after Idol but whose career has seemed to stall of late. Luckily for Adam he has many different facets to his talent so if the music business does not work out then he can branch out to other art forms. I read somewhere the other day how Gaga's no longer the star she was a couple of years ago and even though I don't follow her career my sense is that this is probably true. Fame can be fleeting as many have experienced but I think that Adam's talent and personality will ensure his longevity.
