Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!! Why does almost every day have to end up into "what Adam is doing wrong?" or "what Adam must do!"

I see some nice long posts (my favourite!!!) and interesting discussions on previous pages, but my head is literally ringing with links and reviews and percentages ( ), so I'll have to get back to them tomorrow. Also, I wanted to thank everyone once again for all the recaps, I've read and loved them all Kamar, I think you have found your niche, which is really incredible. Those recent cartoon pictures combine your love of drawing and your sense of humour, plus your style feels right there and fits really well on them. Good job!!! AWWWW ALEKS YOU KNOW I'M A BIG FAN OF YOUR WORDS <3

In response to murly---I totally agree with you that Adam's albums are quality ones, with songs that are memorable and beautifully sung....Music Again, Shady, Fever , Outlaws of Love,Underneath, just to name a few.I don't think that those of us who love Adam's albums can be dismissed as "glamberts who love anything Adam sings." But I do know a voice that touches my soul and Adam does that more than any other singer I've ever listened to.
I do wish we had spent some time together when we were at the QAL concert in Vegas together, murly.I think we would have had many things to share about our Adam... But-as you know, the place and time were only for the QAL performance that night and we had both had long drives from San Diego and Utah and I can only hope we shall be lucky enough to meet again.

Absolutely--it was such a quick turnaround trip for me, as I wanted to get home to my elderly mother as soon as possible. I felt guilty enough leaving her for a day and a half, even though she assured me she'd be fine (and she was). It would have been fun to have more time to talk. That noisy hall wasn't exactly conducive to conversation! But we both had the experience of a lifetime at the concert, so there's that!

I feel I might be able to give a bit of an outsider perspective here. You guys here would buy a CD of him singing the phone book so it's hard for you guys in general to see the forest for the trees. Like me with Queen maybe Now previously, either he or his label (pre A2) wanted him to do a dance-pop kind of album. His casual fans, I think, didn't want this. The ones who liked him on Idol and got FYE - they liked his pop/rock stuff. Those are the ones he lost between FYE and Trespassing As an outsider of sorts - I bought and enjoyed FYE. I definitely liked some tracks more than others. I went on and bought Trespassing and quite honestly, I wasn't a fan. I liked a few of the tracks but it was all pretty forgettable if I'm honest. And I think it's more flop than hit...It did well to debut at #1 but it sank like a stone. So when people say he needs songs, that's partially true. He needs songs that are memorable and will connect with a casual audience. BUT I honestly think he needs some cohesion more . He needs to sit down with a songwriter and develop an album long vision, get a quality band together and work together to fulfill this vision and not just a collection of songs. He needs to find a young Brian May-esque type musician and just bang out about 30 songs and work it through to the finish...BUT This is all my opinion. EDIT IN: OH...I plan on getting it still...it's the least I could do Of course personally I wish him well...of course selfishly, I'm hoping that sooner than later I'll get to hear a QAL album Bolded parts were of course parts I particularly agree with ... Talon, thank you for your open-mindedness and input have wanted to give you a hug for a long time
