I just hope that the Queen and Adam Lambert concert will have an HBO special or any TV special A question or two.. Does anyone know if you can bring food into Merriweather before a concert? and what time does the show start..? I know the doors open at 6:30.. we're heading in from North Carolina, picking up our family in Va. and going on to Maryland...

..... A question or two.. Does anyone know if you can bring food into Merriweather before a concert? and what time does the show start..? I know the doors open at 6:30.. we're heading in from North Carolina, picking up our family in Va. and going on to Maryland... Here is the info on Merriweather... No bottles, cans, or coolers. Only one empty or factory-sealed water bottle allowed per customer. No outside beverages. Personal food items in clear, disposable, non-glass containers are permitted. No baskets, professional cameras (with a removable lens), or recording devices. Alcohol, grills and glass containers are not permitted in the parking areas.Link to more info: www.merriweathermusic.com/faq/They say no tailgating but there is always tailgating -- but they will not let you have a massive party in the parking lot like they did 10 years ago.

I've been wondering for a while whenever I see people talk about Adam being "stiff" on stage or "hesitant" as some of the skeptics call it, if it isn't his posture that gives that impression at first. We are so used to his incredible posture that we think nothing of it but for people new to Adam they don't realize that he is ALWAYS like that. It is so incredibly rare (at least in America) to see someone tall who has such perfect posture even casually walking down the street. I mean look at the pics of him an Rufus. Even though the difference is not huge it is somehow striking. Rufus is not exactly slouching but his shoulders are rounded forward a bit and his head and neck are angled forward whereas Adam's head and neck are perfectly upright and his shoulders stay back giving him a regal air. The more I think about it the more I think that people have to get used to seeing that posture and that's why they think he is "stiff" at first and then "loosens up". He isn't doing anything different but they are adjusting to seeing him. I think it depends on the context of the comment. Often, it is a comment that his on-stage monologs and song intros are stiff and scripted. And they sometimes are. He is so much more charming and real when he goes off-script like he did last night -- a bit -- like on the QVC bit and the audience call-and-response segment. He was sooooooo much fun in 2013 Miami/Beau Live and Biloxi Hard Rock because he really was unscripted and relaxed. *** I avoided the other meaning of "stiff" completely but the comments are also made and where made last night. I know that is not what you were referring to but could not resist!
