Saskatoon Pink bra during Fat Bottom Girls (1st bra for Queen ever) Detroit Took off fringe and held it while singing at mike stand Is that really true that it's 1st bra for Queen???? Re: taking off fringe for I Want It All. He did the same thing in Chicago - during the song he took it off and put it over the mic.

Not sure if this has been posted. www.theglobeandmail.com/arts/music/three-reasons-freddie-mercury-might-approve-of-queen-adam-lambert-and-one-reason-he-might-not/article19584292/Three reasons Freddie Mercury might approve of Queen + Adam Lambert (and one reason he might not)..... 4. Let him go. (We will not him go!). One wouldn’t imagine the stylish Mercury condoning the gold-lamé blouse May wore for the opera buffa shenanigans of Bohemian Rhapsody, but, more seriously, would he abide parts of the original 1975 recording being used in a 2014 concert? A tape of Mercury’s studio vocals and live concert footage were also used for the unplugged Love of My Life, though May and the audience sang most of it. Nice touches, but how much Mercury is required? On the wistful These Are The Days of Our Lives, Roger Taylor sang “you can't turn back the clock,” and yet the home movies of the band in its youth were screened to sappy effect. It’s a rock and roll show, not a Mercury tribute. It’s also 2014, and about time the band moves on and calls itself simply “Queen” again, dropping the plus-Lambert tag. Mercury’s legacy is assured; there’s no need to continue the memorial. As the man sang himself: “If I'm not back again this time tomorrow, carry on, carry on, as if nothing really matters.” plays Montreal’s Bell Centre, July 14; and returns to Toronto’s Air Canada Centre, July 28. I am convinced Freddie would not approve of those videos of him singing being used in concert. I am pleased someone finally wrote about it in that way. I honestly believe that Freddie would prefer to have the music he wrote performed -- particularly BoRhap. I am sure many Queen fans feel differently. But they used a tape for the chorus section when Freddie was alive and that part really would take a lot of people to perform live -- more then 6 voices.

After 40 years in the business and after improbably surviving the loss of iconic singer Freddie Mercury in 1992 due to complications caused by AIDS, “forever” seems like a more approachable goal than ever. With the former American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert playing queen for the day as the band's featured touring vocalist these days, the flashy troupe gave an extravagant, high-energy, old-fashioned arena rock show to a sold-out, whipped-up Air Canada Centre audience on Sunday. Would Freddie Mercury, who wrote and sang Who Wants to Live Forever, The Show Must Go On and “goodbye everybody, I've got to go,” endorse the 2014 edition of Queen and its glam-rock reviving pomposity? Here are three reasons why Freddie Mercury might approve of Adam Lambert and the dowager Queen, and one reason why he might not. 1. On the night after “supermoon,” Adam Lambert didn’t try to produce Mercury rising. Instead, for his first costume situation, he reached into the closet and pulled out a retro George Michael look, complete with shades, a dark shadow of facial scruff and studded black leather garb. Vocally, Lambert doesn’t possess the richness of Mercury, but his swagger comes naturally and the agile tenor didn’t miss a note all night, swooping easily up to high places when required. The first four songs – Now I’m Here, Stone Cold Crazy, Another One Bites the Dust and Fat Bottomed Girls – hit hard and relentlessly. Tushy ladies may make the “rockin’ world go around,” as Lambert asserted, but a bluesy backbeat doesn’t hurt either. This is not the first time someone has compared this particular Adam's outfit to George Michael, but a few days ago, that Tomaso and Lorenzo blog said something different, they implied that it was a gay thing and that not everyone would recognize the 'nod', to paraphrase... I would really like to know what they meant, so if anyone knows, I'd appreciate the explanation.

I am 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999% sure it is the first bra thrown at a Queen concert for Queen (vs. another artist on the same bill). The US Queen concert audiences in 1974-1982 were dominated by men and the crowd was there for a rock concert, there was no Enrique or Elvis or OD thing going on. No fainting girls or swooning old ladies. There are not great records about things like this but no reference to it on Google.

Well ,Well ,Well ,critic Nick was unhappy with Queen and Adam Lambert.. so unhappy that he has nothing positive to say at all. When you have no balance in a critique , IMHO ,it kind ofinvalidates the review and makes the reviewer seem totally self obsorbed. He's probably a tits and ass kind of guy that would rave about Katy Perry and her wonderful voice and attributes.

Freddie wore it, George Michael wore it, and Adam is wearing it. Freddie George The original look

I wish Adam would sing the entire BoRhap (apart from the chorus section, which they could still play in video), cause we've never heard it, and I think it would be amazing. Just once, pretty please! I love Brian May's solo - probably because I'm an astrophysicist at heart - it takes me to another time and space. But, I do skip over that middle section when I'm watching the shows later on videos. I think it slows down the show - it's not a rock'n'roll concert any more but a trip down memory lane - and I've taken that trip already, so I don't need to take it over and over again... Anyway, just my opinion. And, I love that theglobeandmail.com (never heard of that site) has a true Queen connoisseur on staff Finally, a reviewer who gets it.

And he probably raves about SuBo in the privacy of his own room
