LOL Red Panda.... I am thankful every day, that we do not all see, hear and feel the same way. What if the only 'Adam' choice we had was that other Adam? You know who I mean.
I've spent a good portion of my life consciously liking what others tend not to! I enjoy it very much. IMO Adam's most famous 'just standing there' performance is 'Ring of Fire' on Idol. In reality, he barely moved physically. But outside of the physical, he moved mountains in my opinion...........hell, he moved heaven and earth. Few performers can move so wholly with so little physical movement. Some may not see it...... it may make others uncomfortable. Some just won't like it. Too bad....... so sad.

Just when I talk myself out of another show, STL (Toronto) comes along. Save me.
I had a FLD moment in the elevator after Detroit. I was riding up with a guy and another woman. He says to the woman, "were you at the Queen concert?". She says, "Oh, were they in town? No, I didn't go, just can't, you know, without Freddie." I say, "You didn't know they were in town?!" (cuz I'm instantly irritated that someone who is SUCH A HUGE FAN OF QUEEN and wants to lay out a FLD should at least know they were in town) then I continue, "You would have loved hearing Freddie's music being played live; I think it's wonderful that they are out on tour playing his songs again!" The guy says, "Adam Lambert just killed it. He's a great entertainer!" She sorta nods her head and exits. The door closes and he says, "I liked Adam on Idol but just didn't know til now how really good he is." I said, "I wish more people could just give him his due, he's doing a great job!" He says, "He was really good, I'm so glad I went!" We nodded in agreement and the door opened and he got off.
I don't think the woman knew anything about Queen except that Freddie had passed away and, you know, she felt like she had to acknowledge the depth of her knowledge.

As has been said here before...... that line has never, ever, EVER had ANYTHING to do with riding a bike. Adam is simply playing on the actual, intended meaning, not 'acting like he is riding a bike'.

Somebody to love Montreal. Contains some pretty robust fan participation but it is also quite cute. Hang in there it is worth it.
