hey guys! I am a lurker with a random question. When Brian asks the crowd how they like the new guy, does he ask Adam if he'd like to stay (as part of the group?) I seem to remember that Brian made this hopeful question during one of the early concerts and Adam answered, "Well, yeah!" after which they both seemed to backpedal away from it. Did I dream it or does someone know what concert that was? I'd love to look at it segment more closely.

OT sort of --- but it illustrates how irrelevant financially recorded music sales are becoming -- Sia will have the #1 album this week with less that 50K units sold in the US!!  It is July -- the slowest sales month of the year -- but still! **** Thank goodness Adam is an amazing performer and has other ways to make money and hooked up with Bri and Roger! I always look at the back of the Rolling Stone to check album sales and I've watched the numbers go down over the years. I'm curious if all this tour exposure has impacted Adam's and Queen's current music sales. Any of the numbers people know? It has not changed Queen catalog sales at all. They just keep selling at a steady, low rate. This is mostly a core fan event and they have little to nothing to buy. Queen moves from the #100 to #150 selling artist on iTunes worldwide -- right now at 126. Nothing by Queen is in the Top 400 sellers in the US. Queen - Greatest Hits (album) is currently #68 in the world -- #198 in Canada. |

HELLO TOILET !Direct link to this Life on the Road does strange things to a person. It might seem to be all glamour, but, once loneliness sets in…. One welcomes any new pal to talk to. I'm adopting this little chap (he's called Toto) to be my closest pal on the remainder of the tour. See how he talks to me?! He has a warmed seat ! never fails to open up to me. And he will give my undercarriage a fabulous oscillating wash - and a gentle blow-dry. Aaaah ... My new pet !
