Required staging for all future performances of Moonlight Sonata Too hilarious! Good morning. LindaG23 this has got to be the best statement on the 'Adam is no Freddie' syndrome of some Queen fans and reviewers! I am not going to lie. I really do get kind of 'bitchy' disappointed when I hear these comments and I spew some 'flowery' (for lack of a better word lol) language when I hear it! So to rid myself of anymore negative thoughts about the 'Adam is no Freddie' people I'm letting out my feelings just one more time and then I'm saying nuttin' more about them.
Now I feel better!
Adam and Queen.......

Is Adam Lambert too good.. does it worry some critics, that Freddie's iconic status could be affected? If so,why can't the world have more than one great voice in it?? It's not a contest after all and Freddie is a legend and will remain one.. So why all the "Lady Doth Protest Too Much "Comments I guess if you say Adam is no Freddie Mercury enough times you will believe it.... No, I do not think "Adam is too good". And Adam is indeed not Freddie Mercury. They are different. The Q+AL concert experience is different than seeing Freddie in concert -- that is the one fact that everyone who has actually been to both seems to agree on. And Freddie on video is not the same as Freddie live -- no matter how big the screen is -- it pales in comparison to the real Freddie. (Personally, I wish they would just put those videos away and leave fans with their 3D real memories. But many Queen fans seem to like it.) Adam stepped into Freddie's shoes. They have many things in common -- but are not the same. The comparisons are unavoidable and will always be there. One can either choose to ignore them, resist them, or join me and accept that the comparison will be made. I say, "Yes, Adam is not Freddie. Did you enjoy the concert?" I think people who keep on saying, "He's not Freddie" are people who has never seen Freddie live performance. And yes, most of these reviewers I bet has never seen Freddie's live in concerts. I like one review that saying "LET HIM GO".

Drive by post! Montreal show was sublime. So happy. Will do proper recap when I can get my thoughts in order and have a computer! Lovely to meet Atoppers Alana, viv, lifeisnow plus all the other Glamberts ( incl streamer DancyGirls) who joined us for a pre-concert meetup. So much fun! I did not take any vids or pix during the show as I wanted to live it. But now I'm crying because I feel like I missed things and it's slipping out of my memory so fast!!!! Need to write it all down ASAP. Solution..,going to try, try to get to last Toronto show!

Did we ever get a whole video of Crazy Little Thing Called Love from yesterday's concert? I only saw the partial one.

OT but a 2009 video of Nile Rogers and Slash on stage together. I'd love Adam to do something with Slash. Charlie Fisher @officialcdf 3h I had no idea this existed, but I'm extremely happy that it does. @nilerodgers @slash www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaFVVqluatM …

I'd love if he did something with Slash too! Remember when Slash was talking about Adam and he said Adam had a great set of pipes or something like that?
