The QAL PR lady contacted Liam and told him that he had asked specifically for him! And what's more, instead of the call being made by a manager/PR liason, Adam made the call himself - FIVE MINUTES EARLY!!!  Liam's co-host answered the phone to "Hi, it's Adam here, is Liam there?" and handed Liam the phone without telling him who it was.... and he said "Hey Liam, this is Adam" It was very cool to hear the story behind the interview! And to be in the studio today when they did the show - they played the interview in (I think) 4 parts over a couple of hours.... lots of Glambert hilarity inbetween! And TV filmed part of it for our biggest network evening news bulletin! Also interviewed Aidan McEwan (Liam's brother) who you may remember from the Adam Lambert Hour. (Will share the link here when it becomes available) All in all a BERTiful day!!!!!!!! :D ETA: and tomorrow is the STRESS of buying tickets!!!!!!!!!! OMG Wish us all luck!!!!!!!!!!  Love hearing that Adam initiated the interview with Liam. That kid has worked his butt off for Adam and deserved the scoop. Further, he could/should give lessons to the 'seasoned' journalists on how to be prepared and conduct an interesting informative interview. Super job. |

Gaaaahhhh. I'm really trying not to get my hopes up. Dr Brian has hinted at this one or two times before and Shoshanna shoots it down. Me trusts so much Dr. May - not so much Mrs. Stone   In all fairness, That announcement is not hers to make but you sooooooo know a European tour is going to happen. |

Brian, pin-striped pants Here's a few we can add: Philly - Rog and Adam hug after UP - bra on stage (and a mango? lol) - audience "battle" (who's louder) during Gimme Your Love segment |

I left out something very important from my feels post. Thank you to all of you here on the board for sharing the ride, giving me a place to indulge myself fully, get information, *feel validated* (I'm one of those with side eye friends and family), experience the concerts, learn...well, I know you all know, I don't have to go on and on. But just thanks, thanks so very much.  Also, Jablea? I can't thank you enough, I believe you initiated and maintain the highlights list? What a genius idea. Amazing how a word or two can create such a vivid memory of the event. And my memory can use that help.  Your list will help bring back concert moments for years to come. Thanks for thinking of that! Cassie, again lost because of technical ineptitude. Can you tell us what happened here? I think Adam was off timing? Maybe? And obviously what is important is that Roger 's response was that lovely hug, way more important that whatever happened, but I am curious. Somewhere after 4:11 Going from the mother perspective, what a lovely boy you raised, Leila. Can't imagine the depth of your love and pride to see others love him so. Several people have said that Adam can in early, but it sounds like the same place that they have sung the final word in previous renditions. Maybe Roger missed it? What most probably happened is that they usually watch each other intently and cue each other when to sing it. The communication didn't happen this time. Kinda cute. ETA: Watching again, Roger puts his hands up to his forehead, and grins, like "Oops. I fucked that one up" so I think he was the one who missed the cue. |

I realize this is extremely anti-climatic, what with all the great reviews, The ATT Live Proud interview, and the NZ announcement, the Philly concert pics and vids rolling in and MSG tonight.
